Continuity mistake: After the car crash, when Ryuuichi gets out of the car, when the shot changes, his coat is opened more and in a different position than the previous shot. Now the sides are curled rather than straight.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Nick Chen (Chow Yun-Fat) talks to Jack (Jon Kit Lee) at the NYC Correction, the shot facing Nick shows him grabing Jack's face by the chin. The next shot, facing Jack, shows Nick's hand around Jack's neck. The final shot facing Nick again shows his hand back on the chin. (00:58:50)
Continuity mistake: At the end, when Madeline is kicking dirt onto Harry when he is lying in the hole, the amount of dirt on his shirt changes from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: At one point when Nick and George are driving the the Porsche, their seat-belts alternate between being on and off between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Libby goes to the BMW dealer, the dealer says the address is 20 Oriole Terrace. When Libby is driving down Oriole Terrace, she passes a house with four digits in the address.
Continuity mistake: The whole premise of the movie is a paradox: The main character's colleague thinks the main character has inherited a fortune, and the colleague wants that money which is why he tries to frame him by making him steal some fake drug money. BUT why would the main character run that risk, agreeing to steal the drug money? If he HAD inherited a fortune, he doesn't need a risky ten thousand bucks now, does he? Surely his friend might work out something was up when his supposedly rich friend agreed to run a risk to earn a comparatively small amount?
Continuity mistake: When Vinny's vigilante friends confront him in his apartment, they pull his phone off the wall when he tries to call the police. You can see that the phone is just a prop as there is no phone jack or brackets holding it in, just one nail sticking out of the wall.
Continuity mistake: When the bad guy is taking photos of Dooley and his partner, there is one where the ticket is still in the window even though Dooley has taken the ticket off the window. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: The entire bar scene at the beginning of the movie contains numerous continuity errors for the props (e.g, lamp, jar of pickles) and background. The background changes and it is difficult to see what is being shown. In some views, there appear to be some kind of pillars or wooden rails/posts that are practically up to the bar and/or above Casper's head. At times, the ceiling looks domed with pictures arched/curved from the top of the wall to the domed ceiling. There is an overall lack of continuity in the bar scene.
