Other mistake: In the scene at the kitchen table where the New York analyst is suggesting ways for Jack Stanton to deny the allegations he has impregnated a teenage black woman, to the staff he says, "We can go on Montel or Geraldo or some show like that." Only his mouth doesn't say "Montel." He is saying "Oprah," but has been dubbed in post-production to say Montel.
Other mistake: Just as Cooper dives through an open window to escape the security guard, the window falls, causing him to crash through the glass. There is nothing in the area that could have affected the window, and no reason it should have fallen, other than for effect. (00:43:00)
Other mistake: Phillip Baker Hall sends Chris Tucker to meet with the FBI immediately after he tells the agent on the phone that he will be sending someone over to them right away. Chris is told by the FBI guy that Jackie Chan's plane arrives in one hour. After Chris picks up Jackie from the airport, he calls his boss to vent his concern. This is supposedly the same day, but both Phillip and Elizabeth Pena are wearing different outfits.
Other mistake: In the scene where Emily is throwing away all of Steve's stuff, she discards a disco ball, commenting, "Who decorates like this anyway?". But, later in the film, when Steve and Emily are in bed choosing college courses, there is a disco ball (like the one Emily discarded earlier) at the top of the bed. Wouldn't she have thrown that one away too?
Suggested correction: Emily wants to marry herself into the family quickly. It's possible that Steve insisted on keeping the disco ball and she decided to deal with it later, after the wedding.
Other mistake: When Ben Affleck is helping the play actors rehearse a dance and Gwyneth Paltrow starts dancing the woman's part (even though she's supposed to be a man), Ben Affleck yells, "Are you a lady, MISTER Kent?" instead of "Master Kent," as men are all referred to throughout the film.
Other mistake: When Ben surprises Isabel by hiding in the kitchen cabinet, he is in a deeper cabinet, but when Isabel takes him out of the cabinet it is no longer deep enough that Ben could fit inside of it. (00:02:55)
Other mistake: In the scene where Marlon Wayans is in the store after getting his clothes taken by the homeless guy, he goes in the suit store and he is supposed to be naked, but you can see the side of the black underwear that he has on when he faces the salesman.
Other mistake: There's a scene where James films his and Veronica's amorous activities for use as Shelmikedmu mating ritual videos. While she is dancing, we see him slip behind a curtain to turn on the camera. Later on, we see the footage being played on a store's display TV's. Much of the footage shown is of her dancing BEFORE he turned on the hidden camera. And because of the angle of the shot, you can see that it wasn't taken by a different camera.
Other mistake: Mari said she had a shag in a Chevy, but it is an Oldsmobile.
Other mistake: In the credits, the name of the lead character, Reed Buccholz (pronounced as "Buckles"), played by Alex Erkiletian, is listed as 'Reed Bucchoiz'.
Other mistake: When Bidwell comes back from being mauled by the bear, he has a wooden "crutch". When you see him up close the crutch is sawed or finely cut on the top. He was lost in the woods so I don't think he could find one of those.
Other mistake: There were no dents, broken glass, or other damage on the phone booth as it flew off the cliff, even though it had just received a hard blow from the van.
Other mistake: When Bobby recovers the onside kick, he recovered it on the 43-yard line, which is where the ball is spotted (the scoreboard even shows this). However, there was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty with the late tackle (and a flag was thrown so we know the ref didn't miss the penalty) so the ball should have been spotted on the 28-yard line. (And there's no question there were no off-setting penalties).
Other mistake: When Chip Hazard's chopper is shot down, he jumps clear before it goes down. But he jumps up, and at the height his leap takes him, he should get his head chopped off by the rotors.
Other mistake: Before the job, in the car, Don Cheadle, in the back seat, hands out a hacksaw, a ratchet and a pump-action shotgun, which he pumps before handing it over. The man taking the shotgun immediately pumps it again, which means it's been pumped twice, and a cartridge should have been ejected, but it wasn't. Or the gun's empty, in which case there was no point pumping it once, let alone twice.
Other mistake: Towards the end of the film, when the girls have locked themselves in the school, and Odette addresses the girls about voting what they feel, Tinka and Tweety hand out the ballots. When Odette says "You think times have changed, and we go our own way...", we see the camera focus on a group of girls. Now if you look closely at the middle row, at the girl on the right, you won't be wrong if you think that that's Kirsten Dunst. What's wrong with her being in the picture? Well, by this time in the movie, Kirsten Dunst has been expelled from the school and shouldn't be in that frame. We know this, and it is confirmed that she wasn't still at school by her appearance at the end of the film, when she arrives with Frosty in his car and says "We drove down as soon as we heard the news on the radio!" (01:27:00)
Other mistake: When the film starts, Dolittle drinks from a yellow cup, the angle changes to behind his shoulder and it's perfectly obvious the cup is empty. Then, despite this, he keeps sipping and moving his mouth all the time.
Other mistake: When Charlie is helping Jack watch TV through the window, his mother comes in and talks to him. By this point Charlie has stopped changing channels, but we can see the channel change effect once more.
Other mistake: The color of the buttons described by Diderot (and as it can be seen on the schematics he's holding) does not match the actual control panel of the crane. (00:05:00 - 00:06:40)
