Trivia: In the scene with George swinging from the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, that's actually Brendan Fraser, not a stuntman. He enjoyed the rush so much that he requested an extra take just to swing again.
Trivia: The part played by Meatloaf was first given to boxer Frank Bruno who quit the film during filming as his son wasn't allowed on set to get the spice girls' autographs.
Trivia: As already noted, Hercules wears a lionskin which is made out of Scar. In the myths of Hercules one of his great tasks was to kill a vicious lions and he kept the skin ever since. But it's more than just a joke or a cameo that he wears Scar, for both Scar and Hercules were animated by the same man (Andreas Deja).

Trivia: The mars shuttle is a space shuttle type craft. It has different wings which are more curved and also smaller. When the shuttle is launched the moviemakers have simply used a genuine space-shuttle scene, where the shuttle has completely different wings.

Trivia: Due to the financial success of the previous two films, Disney originally intended for this to be a theatrical film. However, after their success with the direct-to-video animated sequels "The Return of Jafar" and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves," Disney decided to make this their first foray into a direct-to-video live-action sequel. Given it was gamble, this decision unfortunately resulted in the budget being lowered substantially in comparison to the previous two films.

Trivia: Originally intended to be a major theatrical release. However, after production company Turner Broadcasting was merged with Time Warner, the latter decided to simply burn off the film by releasing it into theaters with little promotion. As a result, despite receiving good reviews, the movie bombed in theaters. However, it has gained a cult following in the years since its release.
