Visible crew/equipment: When Perdita is fighting in the desert, the sun is creating a shadow of the whole crew that can be seen at the bottom of the screen.
Factual error: In one shot, the camera is on the platform at Tottenham Court Road station, and a sparkling new train rushes in. Wrong type of train - the one used is from the semiautomatic Victoria Line stock. I suppose London Transport must have been too ashamed of their Central and Northern line trains to have allowed them to be filmed.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Asuka is fighting against the JSDF aircraft, her umbilical cable is severed and she ejects the umbilical plug. She then expands her AT field and the plug is connected in her back again. In the next shot, it isn't there.
Factual error: Martha Cable is shown describing to a customer the process for converting a cap-and-ball Army Colt revolver to accept cartridges. While it is entirely possible that a gunsmith in Texas might perform such actions, the burning question is, "Why?" The only cartridges available were for a .32 caliber Smith & Wesson, or those for a .44 Henry repeating rifle, and such cartridges were virtually impossible to obtain in the South during the Civil War.
Factual error: In early scenes, Lieutenant Commander Ramirez is wearing insignia for Lieutenant, not Lieutenant Commander. Later scenes have him wearing the correct insignia.
Continuity mistake: Two agents show up at Professor Wahl's door. Marlan Clark introduces himself taking his sunglasses off with one hand, which becomes two in the reverse shot.
Character mistake: When Darcy walks into the police station the chief calls her Joan, the lead actress' real name, by mistake.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the protagonist is first broken out of jail, at the end of the chase scene with the last two police cars. When they hit the ramp and crash, it is two earlyish model Crown Vics. Before they crash, it is one early model Vic, and one (what was a) late model Crown Vic in 1996.
