Plot hole: Why was $100,000,000 worth of heroin sitting in the police vault all this time before the bad guys stole it? Wouldn't the DEA have taken possession of the drugs long before that?

Plot hole: When Charlie sets out to hijack the money train, he jumps off the platform onto the tracks as it arrives, in plain sight of the driver and other passengers at the station, and only puts his mask on once he's in position on the tracks. The train conveniently stops right over top of Charlie, allowing him to enter through the conveniently-placed grate on the train's floor. (01:17:15)

Plot hole: Now why the heck is one of the stealth fighters anywhere near the train? Stealth fighters use advanced targeting and do not need to be anywhere near their target, yet in the movie the one fighter is so close to the train when it gets blown up that it looks like it's on a collision course.

Plot hole: When they are on the subway train, they are talking about the worm and the virus. They said that everything would happen on the 14th. A couple of scenes later, when they are setting up for the traffic lights to go crazy at 9:00, Dade looks at his watch. You can see the date as 10-18, which is 4 days afterwards. (01:17:15 - 01:22:50)

Plot hole: The group poison a dozen or so people and dispose of their bodies by burying them in their own garden. Some of their victims are notable celebrities - television presenters, authors, leaders of large and vocal pressure groups. Certainly some of them are nobodies, but nonetheless they are going to tell friends where they are going for dinner! Not one of these people told their assistants or their secretaries or a friend or a relative - a spouse? - where they were going and what they were doing on the night they were murdered? Not one of them? Not one single trace was left for the police to follow? Absolutely impossible.

Plot hole: When Jack first gets the diskette after arranging the theft of Angela's bag, he cuts his hand to show he struggled with the thief. The next scene shows them on his boat, a few hundred yards from shore, where Angela is helping dress the wound. They then speak of calling the police. When they'd just walked along the beach from the resort, and with the hotel in the background on shore in the scene, why would they take the time & trouble to (presumably go to a dock), get on the boat, drive out a few hundred yards, stop the boat, sit down and THEN deal with the wound, and talk of the police, instead of simply walking back to the hotel & getting it all dealt with immediately? (00:29:00)

Plot hole: For the transaction with the buyers, Moore sets up two hotel rooms: one where she will be based and the other for the buyers. She also goes about setting it up so that her toy truck can be navigated through the ventilation system, with a camera and having a private speaker system between them. Now when Banderas finds the room with the buyers he is unaware of where she is but knows she's close and checks the hotel's billing system on the television. On the TV the room number she registered with is shown. She went to all this effort to protect herself and yet registered the other room in her name and linked it with her room? Its not like she would have missed something so important because she would have needed to sign in when checking into the hotel. It seems to only serve the plot as Banderas relied on this information to find her and make his move to try and eliminate her.

Plot hole: When SWAT enters Peters wife's room, the officer reaches for her neck and almost as soon as he touches her, he states "no pulse". This guy's EMT skills are phenomenal! Carotid pulse with a glove on in less than 2 seconds. This guy is good.

Plot hole: In the scene at Wayne Manor where they show Harvey "Twoface" getting scarred with the acid on TV, you can see the acid cover almost his entire face before he puts the folder over to protect it. (00:24:15)

Plot hole: In one scene Eric Stoltz throws an angel out a window. This angel then lands on the roof of a parked car, bounces off as another car runs into him, smashing him against a stainless wall. Now, this is a blind street, a dead end, so why would anyone race like this?

Plot hole: In the scene after the bank job where Charlene waves Chris off alerting him of the setup, Chris drives away and is stopped by the cops to verify who he is. He has a fake ID and they let him go. The police CLEARLY know who Chris is and what he looks likes for most of the movie but somehow, those cops don't have anything with Chris' name and face on it?

Plot hole: At the end the police shoot Cole while he was chasing Dr Peters but the police do not stop Dr Peters and question him as to why a man was chasing him at the airport with a gun, instead he is unchallenged and allowed to continue his journey.
Suggested correction: There is no connection between Cole and Dr. Peters, nobody knows he is specifically chasing him. Dr. Peters is beyond the gates and on his way into the plane so unless they want to stop the entire flight, which is unlikely, he is left alone. Perfectly reasonable.
Cole is chasing a man and Dr. Peters is running away (and knocking people over in the process). Further, they were screaming "there he is...stop him he's got a deadly virus" and pointing at Dr. Peters. Highly unlikely they would have let the plane depart.
There was a dude with a gun, a lot of people were running, panicking. Perfectly reasonable reaction from Peters. The police were after Cole anyway, so the attention was on him, not on Peters. And as I said, Peters was already past the inspection, so he was where he was supposed to be and there was no reason to stop him.
Not to mention that Dr. Railly can also corroborate the reason Dr. Peters is being chased.
Dr. Railly can corroborate the reason Cole is chasing Dr. Peters. When she points out that he is even on the front page of USA Today with a Nobel Prize winner, I think they'd definitely investigate.
The shrink was still alive and seemed to give up quickly on her mission to stop a virus from killing billions. Like she just let them take her while she remained silent instead of continuing to scream that he had a virus so Cole died in vain. And they would know why he was chasing them because all they would need to do was ask him.
Her concern was with Cole, she tries to protect him throughout the movie. After Cole is shot she knows there is no way they let her continue the chase, all she cares about is Cole. Cole is being chased by the cops, no reason for them to believe what he is yelling, no reason to believe her either, since she is as an accomplice.

Plot hole: Jose is the only one carrying the bag of money, then he gets killed, in the next scene Anthony and the others have the bag on the table though none of them were carrying one besides Jose.
Suggested correction: Kirby and Klingon were both running with bags of money.

Plot hole: When Sid shoots the TV-show host, the number of viewers doubles in two seconds. How would all those people find out so fast and switch channels?

Plot hole: The premise is that the back-story is a fabrication, including the five being placed together in the police line-up and in custody in order to get them to work together. But in the flashback of Keaton in the restaurant, it is Dave Kujan who takes Keaton in. It is inconceivable that Kujan would be complicit in the staging of the line-up (and doesn't fit with the plot). And if Verbal is inventing it, then Kujan is going to know it didn't happen. It doesn't make sense and undermines the plot.

Plot hole: Jamie takes off running with her baby. 33 seconds later, Michael kills the nurse. 30 seconds have passed since killing the nurse and Michael is right behind Jamie and somehow manages to find a knife along the way. All in a one minute 5 second time frame. (00:04:50 - 00:05:55)

Plot hole: After leaving the hospital, Racine ducks into a pachinko parlor. In there, he gets a young girl to help him find a telephone and a taxi. The problem is, she is about 10 years old, and you have to be 18 to even enter a pachinko hall. The attendants we can see in charge would have evicted her within minutes.
