Factual error: What on earth is the conductor at the premiere of the 9th doing with a baton? This was not used until around 1849, and the premiere of the 9th is in 1824.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Rudy is holding a colt python to the hotel owners nose, in the next shot, the gun suddenly changes to a smith and wesson revolver.
Factual error: When Julia Roberts drives away from the building where she finds the dead body of the boy with "LD" written on his hand, it is raining heavily. Yet, as she accelerates, there is an extended sound of tyres screeching on a dry surface.
Visible crew/equipment: When Li's sons is doing "pushups" on one finger while flying up into the air you see the wire attached to him. (00:29:50)
Continuity mistake: In one scene Geena Davis is repairing Michael Keaton's car. She has dirty hands. Then her boss drives by. She talks to him with a clean face and the next shot, she has oil or something on her face.
Continuity mistake: When Charles finally walks through the vestry door to 'face the enemy' his hair changes from rather messy to nicely combed, then to messy again when he walks through the church. (01:40:55)
Continuity mistake: When Terry and Mike are at the Captain's table on the ship the magazine photographer is seen outside on the deck leaning against a pole waiting to take a pic of Mike with a girl. The camera angle changes to Mike's view of the window looking out and the photographer is now seen looking into the window with his camera trying to avoid Mike seeing him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Honora brings Pauline a tray of breakfast into her room, Honora gives her the tray then talks to her for a while. You can clearly see the face of a crewmember reflected in a window, and then after, you see the reflection of two hands holding the long pole of the boom mic! (00:37:40)
Audio problem: When the man with the peg leg is trying to resist getting a shot of anti-smallpox serum from Professor Waldman, he yells, "You're not sticking that in me. You're not sticking that in me." But if you look closely, you can see that his lips are not moving. (00:32:45)
Continuity mistake: After Norville is punched by the Finnish stockholder, Amy walks in to see Norville holding an ice pack over a red mark on the side of his head. Part way through the scene, the red mark is gone.
Plot hole: When Lalaina is in her depressed "Bell Jar" phase, she's complaining to the psychic hotline counselor that she's freaked out by the idea of having kids because she "can't even take care of a Chia Pet". But earlier in her documentary, she'd talked about how starting at age 13 she had to become the responsible one, buying food, taking care of and parenting her siblings. Which contradicts the portrayal of her as someone who can't take care of anything.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie and his partner are walking and discussing the lottery, the partner tears off a parking ticket for the same car twice.
Continuity mistake: Meg Ryan and the bloke she was going to marry first were picking out colours for the house and he points to one but when he mentions later on he points to a different one.
Revealing mistake: When the killer is up in the radio tower, he tries to force the man up the ladder. He brandished a revolver and you can hear the hammer being cocked back. It shows the revolver more and you can see the hammer is still down.
Revealing mistake: While Noro, a member of a shoeless society, is doing his uphill training you get a glimpse of his shoes, in spite of all efforts to hide his feet in the grass. (00:53:30)
Revealing mistake: In several scenes, it is obvious that the animal actor playing Bagheera is actually a black jaguar. For example, the jaguar is larger and heavier than the leopard/panther. The scene where Bagheera tackles a poacher, he is much too large and heavy to be a leopard/panther.
Continuity mistake: In the sequence in which Marisa Tomei and Bonnie Hunt are getting ready to meet Damon Bradley, Marisa is sitting in front of the mirror fixing her makeup, then Bonnie looks in the mirror and is putting on her right earring, then in the next shot, she is grabbing the earring from the bureau and putting it on again in the right ear.
Visible crew/equipment: When Capa talks to Mrs. Niedelmeyer, there's a 3-foot long shadow of the boom mic on the door.
Continuity mistake: While Bill waits for his brothers in the car, he looks toward the store and watches his brothers inside. The first shot of Bill's perspective of looking at the store, there is a reggae black man walking by. Then it switches back to Bill's face, then again at the store and the man walks by the window a second time in the same direction. When Bill gets out of the car and crosses the street the black man walks by a third time.
Continuity mistake: When Janelle and Veda are in the shop and Janelle is talking to Veda about marriage and divorce, if you look behind Janelle you'll see Sidney entering the shop. When it shows her up close you see her just walking in.
