Visible crew/equipment: With compliments of Koga Shuko the united gangs attack the Lee brothers, and while Jimmy and Billy defend themselves Billy goes up against a guy wearing a school uniform. Just as Billy slams a car's engine hood down onto that guy, in this shot we can see the camera, the camera operator, and a crew member under the raised car hood, at the lower left side of the screen. Revealing mistake: When people disappear because of the time paradox, the background changes. This is especially noticeable when Johnson disappears, watch the lights on the panel behind her go out. (00:13:35)
Continuity mistake: During the car chase scene near the end of the movie when Connors jumps on to the black car the windshield is only slightly lowered. Later during the chase the gap is much bigger and when we see Callahan struggling in the back seat it's lowered all the way down. Also, Connors grip on the car keeps changing between closeups and far off shots.
Continuity mistake: When Winona Ryder is leaning against the fridge, the magnetic letters behind her change position between camera angle cuts. (01:11:35)
Continuity mistake: When the creature rips out Elizabeth's heart, Elizabeth's head is originally turned to the side. When they cut back her head is facing forward.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the wagon train is waiting for Wagonmaster Harlow to decide which fork in the road to take, all the shadows are to the left. As they approach Harlow, the shadows are in front and moment later when the wagons move off the shadows are to the right. (00:26:20)
Revealing mistake: When the doctor is cutting the forehead, a red tube to release fake blood can be seen behind the scalpel. (00:30:12)
Continuity mistake: When the two kidnappers realise the baby is drooling on them from the skylight, Mantegna in the shot from above is holding the pen in his right hand. It was in his left a moment earlier. (00:25:10)
Continuity mistake: In the opening rodeo sequence, Pepper's horse is brown in the chute, but black on the close-ups out in the arena. (00:01:25)
