Continuity mistake: Andy is discovered missing. While the warden is walking to Andy's cell, he tells the guard to question "him", meaning the Morgan Freeman character. He points to Freeman with his left hand but when the scene changes its point of view he is pointing with his right hand. (01:45:45)
Continuity mistake: When John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson are fired at in the apartment, the bullet holes are already in the wall before the gun is fired.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Forrest goes and visits Jenny (and is introduced to his son), there is an iron on the ironing board in the background. It stands up, then down, then up. The child's artwork in the background also disappears. (01:56:25)
Continuity mistake: In Beth's death scene check the arrangement of pillows under her head. It changes several times before and after she dies. (01:32:45)
Continuity mistake: Nala's eyes change from blue to green quite often during the movie.
Continuity mistake: When Mathilda spends her first night at Leon's apartment, Leon places a messily folded blanket on her in one shot. The camera then goes to a different shot of Leon, and then back to the original. However, we can now see that the blanket is mostly unfolded and placed neatly on Mathilda. ..... Continuity mistake: Susan's bang is significantly above her eyebrows when she watches the parade at Bryan's house. That same evening during Thanksgiving dinner, it touches her eyebrows.
Continuity mistake: In the opening rodeo sequence, Pepper's horse is brown in the chute, but black on the close-ups out in the arena. (00:01:25)
Continuity mistake: When Winona Ryder is leaning against the fridge, the magnetic letters behind her change position between camera angle cuts. (01:11:35)
Continuity mistake: When the creature rips out Elizabeth's heart, Elizabeth's head is originally turned to the side. When they cut back her head is facing forward.
Suggested correction: Her eyes were green the whole time. It's just lighting making it look like they changed color.
The correction assumes these lions are filmed, but they are drawn. So if the eyes are blue, they coloured it blue and if it's green they coloured it green, on purpose.

They are colored to emulate different lighting conditions. Note that the fur is also different colors in the different shots.
A darker shade of the same color isn't the same as a whole other color.
