
Continuity mistake: When David Spade first takes a flyer for the pit party, he folds it half length wise and width wise, forming a quartersheet before placing it in his coat. When he later removes the flyer from his coat, it's been folded twice lengthwise, forming a long skinny strip instead of a quartersheet.

Revealing mistake: When the killer is up in the radio tower, he tries to force the man up the ladder. He brandished a revolver and you can hear the hammer being cocked back. It shows the revolver more and you can see the hammer is still down.

Audio problem: In the scene when Mud and his "dad" are getting ready for Celeste to come over, Mud bounces a basketball across a hardwood floor but it makes no sound.

Continuity mistake: When they are in the bar in Broken Hill, Old Shirl comes over and slaps her right hand down on Bernadette's. Then, in the next camera shot, it's her left hand.

Factual error: Bones calls the Drill Sergeant "Ma'am" or "Sir" several times and she never does anything. Anyone who has been through Army Basic Training can tell you, a Drill Sergeant will NEVER let "Sir" or "Ma'am" pass without comment. And this is not a character mistake, It would be like calling a Senator "Governor" or a Catholic preacher "Rabbi" and having them ignore it.

Continuity mistake: In the sequence in which Marisa Tomei and Bonnie Hunt are getting ready to meet Damon Bradley, Marisa is sitting in front of the mirror fixing her makeup, then Bonnie looks in the mirror and is putting on her right earring, then in the next shot, she is grabbing the earring from the bureau and putting it on again in the right ear.

Audio problem: About halfway through the movie, Richard and Fantasy reunite on the island. Richard says, "Fantasy." and Fantasy responds with, "Well, what were you expecting honey? The tooth fairy?" When she says "the tooth fairy" her lips are saying something completely different (and it's even worse, since it's a close-up of her face).

Visible crew/equipment: When Blankman and his brother escape from the bank just before it explodes they are diving on the ground to escape the explosion. You can see that Blankman's brother is a stunt double. (01:04:30)

Continuity mistake: When Meo and 16 are competing with weapons, 16 has a staff but when he bows to grand master he has 2 swords in his hand.

Continuity mistake: While Bill waits for his brothers in the car, he looks toward the store and watches his brothers inside. The first shot of Bill's perspective of looking at the store, there is a reggae black man walking by. Then it switches back to Bill's face, then again at the store and the man walks by the window a second time in the same direction. When Bill gets out of the car and crosses the street the black man walks by a third time.

Continuity mistake: During the last flashback, Spab is seen pulling out an Uzi that he had never acquired.

Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of a boom mike is visible above Mathilda's mom, when Mathilda begins to cry. (00:14:55)

Visible crew/equipment: During the opening tracking shot through the newsroom of The Sun, the camera track on the ceiling can be seen.

Continuity mistake: During his monolog in the scene on the airplane, Briggs introduces Wayne as a private but, in the next scene when they wash up on shore Briggs addresses Wayne as lieutenant.

Continuity mistake: When Janelle and Veda are in the shop and Janelle is talking to Veda about marriage and divorce, if you look behind Janelle you'll see Sidney entering the shop. When it shows her up close you see her just walking in.

Continuity mistake: Once they have the car wreck in the ally, a bird's eye view shows the good guy's car still having the exhaust at the top with fire coming out as they open their doors to get out. Very next shot, still showing them getting out, the fire is now out.

Continuity mistake: When the two kidnappers realise the baby is drooling on them from the skylight, Mantegna in the shot from above is holding the pen in his right hand. It was in his left a moment earlier. (00:25:10)

Revealing mistake: When the doctor is stapling the head, the staples are pre-attached. Also, he stops midway in the close-up shot. (00:37:38)

Character mistake: In the beginning of the film, Doug Chesnick is on a plane returning to Washington. The flight attendant brings him a Bloody Mary with the Vodka in a bottle next to the drink on the tray. He drinks the drink without pouring in the Vodka.

Factual error: In the saloon at night, Ben Wheeler says, "I can't afford another Workers Comp claim". Workers compensation wasn't started in the United States until 1902. (00:10:25)
