Other mistake: Toulon dons two Nazi uniforms to make his escape. But with him as a relatively skinny old man and with his beard (since no Wehrmacht or other Nazi personnel came with nothing more than moustaches), and not to mention being recognizable via the 'Gesucht' ('Wanted') flyers, he would have stuck out like a sore thumb.
Other mistake: In the scene with Torch and the lady with the shotgun, after she says, "You may think you got the powers of hell on your side, but you don't know who you're dealing with", Torch raises his flamethrower and Blade watches behind the wall. When Torch shoots with his flamethrower, the lady screams about 2 seconds later. When you see her again in the next shot she is totally on fire. If you think about it, you can tell the timing for the flame is not right and she wouldn't be on fire that fast. (00:36:05)
Other mistake: Why hasn't there been a mention of Freddy having a child in previous films? Couldn't be because they covered it up, as soon as Freddy was discovered to be the Springwood slasher the media would have been all over him and his family.
Suggested correction: Throughout the entire series, it's shown that there's sort a miniature conspiracy going on where the people of Springwood have been trying to make everyone forget about Kruger, including actively suppressing evidence. It's possible that when he was initially caught, the media was aware of his daughter, but not only would it not have been that big a deal (they were focused on him- not his family) in the decades that have passed since his original "death", the information was likely covered up or ignored in favor of trying to make everyone forget about it. (Hence, even Maggie doesn't know Freddy is her father.) Furthermore, the fact he has a daughter has basically no impact whatsoever on the story thus far, so it makes sense it hasn't been brought up before.
It has never been shown in any nightmare film that there is a cover up conspiracy until Freddy vs Jason (which takes place 5 years after this film), and that cover up begins after the events in this film, evidenced by many characters saying it's been quiet for 5 years.
Other mistake: Chucky cuts Andy's Achilles tendon from under his bed. Throughout the rest of the movie, Andy should have a limp from such a severe injury. However, he has no trouble walking or running in subsequent scenes, nor does he show any signs of injury.
Other mistake: David's wife is looking inside the microscope at what she describes as a protein found in the saliva. It does not quite look like a protein, and in fact it's a reused (it's exactly the same) microscope image from the previous movie, where Marisa identified it as" a section of the pituitary glans of a Lhasa Apso." Other mistake: When Tobey's unmasked in front of Maggie he's badly burned. Yet his hands appear to be perfectly okay contradicting his claim of losing most of the flesh on his body. Surely they'd be scarred up too.
Other mistake: Power's out in the building, yet the TV where the landlord gets eaten is on when he walks in the door.
