Trivia: The crewmembers of the Memphis Belle are not based on actual crewmembers. They are fictitious characters.
Trivia: The characters Karen Barclay and Detective Norris were meant to be in the film during an opening courtroom scene, but the sequence was cut out to save money. Funnily enough, Karen Barclay's actress Catherine Hicks, despite not being in the movie, was often on-set as she met and married one of the special effects wizards who created the Chucky doll in the original film, and had returned to work on the sequel.
Trivia: The entire color palette of the film is limited to seven colors. Every instance of any color is the exact same shade. This was done to evoke the feel of the comic strip origin.

That's an obvious reference to producer David Puttnam (two Ts), who had a brief stint as head of Columbia Pictures in 1986-87, not making many friends in the then Coca-Cola owned production company.
