Other mistake: Sergeant Johnny Gallagher (Gene Hackman) and Lieutenant Milon Delich (Dennis Franz) are in a supposedly deserted building searching for a group of conspirators who plan to assassinate both the USA and USSR presidents. Delich finds a police colleague of his in the building, and Delich kills his colleague. When he fires his revolver, the sound of the blanks can be heard, slightly out of synch with the gun blasts on the sound track.
Other mistake: In the final scene when they are about to charge Fort Wagner, Mathew Broderick yells "forward march!" and takes his first step with his right foot when it should have been his left foot like the rest of the battalion.
Other mistake: Where he comes to Jasper to work at the Double Deuce, he drives to the junkyard to buy new tyres and puts them in the trunk, stacked vertically. There is just one problem - there is no space for them. But who cares, he closes the trunk anyway.
Suggested correction: He slides the first tire all the way into the trunk, then places the second tire in the deeper cavity of the trunk, thus leaving enough room for both tires to fit and the door to close.
No way, that last tire's sticking up way too high. I highly doubt that trunk closed. That's always been an obvious mistake about Road House.
Way I see it he didn't have a spare to begin with in that case one in the well and one on top, it works cause there's less than half a tire showing.
Other mistake: When Joe Clark first comes to Eastside High as principal, he takes it upon himself to confront the staff. At one point, as he begins to turn his back, watch his lips. His mouth does not match the words being spoken.
Other mistake: During the big protest march scene which is supposed to have taken place in the early '70's, one Vietnam vet who is sitting in a wheelchair is clearly wearing a pair of high top Reebok sneakers introduced in the late '80's.
Other mistake: Near the beginning there is a scene where they are launching a submersible with Lindsey and the seal team in it. Lindsey waits until the sub is dangling over the water then pulls a lever and the sub drops about 10 feet into the water with a big splash. Several problems: 1) Those subs are hugely expensive. They put them in the water very gently. 2) Those subs are so expensive that they don't risk having a release mechanism as depicted. They use a standard screw shackle to ring and would have to have a swimmer let them go. 3) Due to the buoyancy of the sub, falling that far to the water would give all passengers back injuries due to the sudden deceleration when the sub hits the water.
Suggested correction: They're on an emergency rescue mission and don't have time to be delicate with the equipment. Also, everyone in the sub is shown being thrown around when the sub hits the water. Hence the angry looks toward Lindsey.
They would still put the sub safely in the water. The first thing in priority in a rescue situation is scene and crew safety. If you damage the rescue sub or hurt the rescue team what's the point of the rescue. They would take the extra few minutes necessary to put the submersible safely in the water.
Other mistake: When Dana enters the hall after being attacked by Pin Head, the door opens out into the hall, but it should open into the room, not out into the hallway. (00:57:00)
Other mistake: Eddie describes her brain tumor as inoperable because her brain wraps itself around it like jellyfish. The German subtitles translate 'jellyfish' into 'eel in jelly'. (00:37:20)
Other mistake: When Ana's fiance lands to pick them up, the Cessna that he flew could only fit five people and that would be three people pushed together in the back. Also that particular plane can't take off in that short of a distance.
Other mistake: During the Battle of Agincourt, the same shots of soldiers being killed are used several times. Most noticeably there is one poor French soldier who dies from an arrow in his back at least twice.
Other mistake: A shot of Karen on the exercise bike is used twice: the first time is out of order with the following shots because her hair is long, then short, then long again. The same shot is used to depict a few years later.
Other mistake: The ripped-out section of the poetry books looks to be at least 15-20 pages, yet when the waste-basket is passed around, each boy only tosses in one or two sheets, and the floor is no longer littered with paper.
Other mistake: In the scene where Miss Daisy asks Hoke if he has had the air conditioning checked, the car they are in doesn't have air conditioning, as there are no clear tubes that transition the airflow from the rear package shelf to the ceiling vents that aren't there.
Other mistake: When the girls tell Harley that Carson has taken a bus back to Spartenburg, he says that is the middle of the night, however it is daylight outside.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the scene where Gage is killed by the Orinco truck, the truck leaves the plant. The number on the trailer is marked T-80. In the scene, the truck rolls over in the accident. In later scenes where Rachel hitches a ride home with another Orinco truck, the number on the trailer is also marked T-80.
Other mistake: When Tod has almost finished speaking to Helen after he's told her about his conversation with Gary, her hands are resting on the cooker ring. She had just been frying chicken so these rings should be scalding hot and she wouldn't have been able to rest her hands on them.
Other mistake: When Tommy, Alex, and the rest of the guys are competing for spots on the Olympic team, they all look flawless at defeating their opponents to qualify and be chosen. Yet, when their training starts, they all act fatigued, not being able to jump rope correctly or run laps around the track without complaining. And these are supposed to be Karate Champions chosen for the Olympics?
Other mistake: When Meghan Turner is riding on patrol with her partner, her first night on the job, her partner tells her to pull over to go inside a mini mart so he can take a leak. The time frame he was in the restroom, from the time she stopped a robbery, does not add up. Unless her partner was in the restroom emptying his bowels or reading a magazine, he should have come out of the restroom quickly to join his partner to foil a robbery. He was gone over 20-something minutes to take a leak?
Other mistake: When they we're picking up the plexiglass off the floor, the piece they pick for a knife is way thicker than the rest of the plexiglass.
Other mistake: Lisa hits Mimi right in the face with the flying kick causing her to bleed, but none is on her or the mat once she's laid out.
