Visible crew/equipment: In the scene of Ram and Kurt's funeral, you can see Ram's supposedly lifeless body breathing.
Factual error: The picture of Eddie and Teddy on the road with dad, supposedly taken in 1906, shows a Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey circus poster. In 1906, the Ringling Brothers circus and the Barnum & Bailey circus were two separate circuses playing in different parts of the country. They did not combine the two shows until 1919. (00:27:00)
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the souls are coming out of Freddy's chest, in the first close-up on the bottom left of the screen you can see a man's hand holding a black stick to manoeuvre the little arms. It's real fast but noticeable on standard play. (01:20:45)
Continuity mistake: When Mark Harmon's character arrives at Sean Connery's house, as he gets out of the car he slams the door, but the sound of the door comes a few seconds later.
Continuity mistake: When Harrison Ford is on the rooftop and the suitcase accidentally opens, the Statue of Liberty goes flying off the rooftop and on to the ground, several stories down. In the next shot, the little statue is perched at the edge of the rooftop. Also, the clothes that fly away magically reappear next to the suitcase a shot later.
Continuity mistake: Anderson (Gene Hackman) visits Clinton Pell's wife and she's talking about Genesis 9, verse 27. In the first shot he's standing right behind her. In the next shot he stands on her left side. Then again right behind her.
Continuity mistake: When Kaneda shoots Tetsuo with his laser gun, it makes a hole on his shirt. In the next scenes, the hole is gone.
Character mistake: Watson says that there are fifteen windows on the front of 221B Baker Street, but if you look, there are only twelve.
Factual error: At the end, when Cyndi Lauper touches the glowing pyramid, goes into a trance, and starts translating the inscription, Jeff Goldblum pulls her off and she doesn't finish it. One of the bad guys says that what Cyndi already said will be enough to help him decode the rest and that it's just a matter of "cartography" now. He should have said "cryptography" (skill of decoding secret writings) and not "cartography" (which has to do with making maps).
Visible crew/equipment: When Carol-Anne is running away from Kane's voice in the garage, she ends up standing in a puddle, only to have hands pull her in seconds later. But when the camera moves down Carol-Anne's body to the puddle, you can see the platform the actress is standing on.
Continuity mistake: When Dexter is at the bar after the faculty party, he's not wearing glasses. After he speaks to Sydney and asks her to have a drink with him, he's suddenly wearing glasses.
Audio problem: When Bourne rescues Marie, he fires a silenced pistol at the man who was trying to rape her, but the sound is of an unsilenced gun. (01:01:10)
Factual error: The Italian flags used in the city that stands in as Trieste are all modern flags of the Italian republic, with just the tricolour. In 1936 the flag would also have the coat of arms from Savoy, being still a kingdom. (00:08:30)
Other mistake: Amazing how quickly the killer, armed only with a butcher's knife, could behead a guy under water before killing the other one.
Plot hole: At Tim's funeral, Olivia's attorney tells her that Tim had himself removed from Olivia's Last Will and Testament, proving he loved her and didn't want her money. However, an attorney could not legally change a client's Will without that person's knowledge and drafting a revised version.
Suggested correction: Not true. Anyone can have themselves removed as a beneficiary of a will. This is done by signing an Affidavit of Disclaimer of Inheritance at such time as someone becomes aware that they have been included in a will as a beneficiary. This is what Tim meant when he said he had removed himself from Olivia's will.
