Trivia: Director Tom Holland was asked to direct this movie following his success with the first movie. Actors Chris Sarandon, Amanda Bearse and Stephen Geoffrey's were all offered to reprise their character's roles. All four had turned them down. Tom and Chris were both working together on the movie Child's Play. Amanda didn't like the material and was busy appearing in the TV show Married...With Children. Stephen was offered the choice to be in this movie or 976-Evil. Stephen, like Amanda, didn't like the material and hated the script and chose the latter movie. Only William Ragsdale and Roddy McDowall appeared in this movie as their original characters.
