Other mistake: Powell says he has a desk job, but he is driving a cruiser. Cruisers are for cops on patrol. A cruiser would not be issued for a cop at a desk, especially not one who's on his way home, as Al says he is.
Other mistake: When Dean compliments Les on the great driving making up for a year of boredom, Les looks around up in the air in a direction away from the car, then suddenly says "there's a scratch on my car." He then looks down on the car at the scratch and shows Dean. He said the "scratch" line before actually seeing it.
Other mistake: When Walker and Michelle fall down the steps at Dede's apartment, Walker lights a match to show Michelle the matchbook. The light from the match flickers on their faces but if you watch closely you can see the match go out as soon as Walker strikes it. (00:54:45)
Other mistake: In the final gun battle when the Regulators are trapped in the attic of the burning house, one of the characters backs into the brick chimney that's coming up through the floor. You can see the entire chimney move when he backs into it.

Though probably intentionally set up this way as to avoid any problems of "logo patents" and such with the real-life MLB California Angels team, he is wearing a helmet without the team logo on it. Other mistake: We know that the blob dissolves flesh and hair and that it can also burn wood (since fluid coming from the blob burns a small spot on the desk in the hospital) and that it can dissolve bullets, but despite this obvious acidic state, the blob doesn't dissolve plants, walls, glass, concrete, metal, nor sticks and twigs.
Suggested correction: It can control its functions otherwise it wouldn't be able to exist.
Other mistake: As the murderer spots a police car coming towards him he turns to his right onto a dirt road, there is a huge boulder at the point where he turns, marked "No trespassing, Bishop Falls camping". As he turns he sideswipes it, rocking the boulder, however the sideswipe has no effect on his vehicle.
Other mistake: When Lea Jansen and Dave Ryder want to leave the room, which is called the "deep freeze", they hear Kalgon and his men coming and "hide" next to the door. When Kalgon and his men enter, the movie wants to tell us that they cannot see Lea and Ryder, although they are obviously in their field of view.
Other mistake: During the second day of fighting, fights are shot out of order. For example, When Chong Li and Suan Paredes fight, the (fighters) benches are nearly empty (the one on the right is empty aside from Chong Li's assistant), but in several fights following, they are more than half full. In fact, Paredes can be seen sitting on his bench in shots after Chong Li snaps his leg in half.
Other mistake: During the first volley from the laser satellite, Kaneda is less than 30 meters from Tetsuo. A massive explosion and fireball hundreds of meters wide is shown within seconds, but somehow, Kaneda survives despite close proximity to the blast. (01:36:00)
Other mistake: The Good Guy dolls are said to be manufactured by the Play Pals toy company. Later, when Karen picks up the box that Chucky came in, on the bottom left corner of the box are the words Play Partners Toys.
Other mistake: The two headed monster's heads are pretty big. Big enough to swallow a person whole. But when Val Kilmer jumps on one to impale it, the sword comes out of the bottom of the monster's head. For this to happen, the sword would have to be unbelievably large, larger than a man, which he would be unable to wield anyway.
