Continuity mistake: After Montoya has hauled Wesley to the top of the cliff, he drops the rope on the ground, where it lands forming a couple of coils. You can see this as Wesley sits down and Montoya leans up against the wall. However, when they start their duel, the rope is hanging straight off the cliff, without any coils in it.
Continuity mistake: After Gilbert Blythe falls in the lake with his bicycle, he and Anne run into Diana, and Gilbert's clothes and hair are perfectly dry.
Continuity mistake: In the last dance scene, Patrick Swayze jumps down from the stage and starts dancing. He goes down on his knees and when he lifts one knee, it is extremely dusty, however when he stands up his knees are completely clean. (01:33:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Emme is flying through the store, you can clearly see a rope guiding the path of the glider.
Continuity mistake: When the William Hurt character is talking to Holly Hunter after her boring lecture, the first shot (from behind Hurt) shows him walking backwards while talking to Hunter. As he continues to walk, he comes perilously close to banging his head on an archway. Yet, on the reverse angle, Hurt has been repositioned about five feet from where he was.
Continuity mistake: In the car chase scene, the escaped convict and police are exchanging gun fire between cars. In the different shots of the police car, the bullet holes in the windshield appear and disappear several times. Also, when three shots have been fired at the police car there are four bullet holes in the windshield.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Eric Stoltz's character, Keith, fresh out of the shower, is confronted by his father about the college money, he has two distinct hairstyles. These two hairstyles show up again at Hardy's house party.
Continuity mistake: When Walter is in the music store, a man puts on his glasses and walks past him, then in the next close-up that man is at the counter, puts on his glasses and walks past again. Other people around Walter, in both shots, differ in their actions too. (01:11:20)
Continuity mistake: When Keaton is talking to the plumber outside her house about the price of replacing her pipes, keep your eye on the van door. It is open, then closed and then open again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Loretta goes to the brother's apartment, cooks him a rare steak & they are sitting at the table talking, the label on the bottle of J&B changes direction from shot to shot without being touched.
Continuity mistake: When Julian sarcastically sings 'Silent Night,' he jumps up in the car and knocks the mirror on the dash upwards out of place. In the next shot it shows it back to normal and then it goes out of place again.
Continuity mistake: After Dean discovers Joanna on the couch, her face covered in calamine lotion, he picks her up and carries her into the bedroom. As he sets her on the bed the viewer can see her face is free from any "spots" and/or lotion.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when the kids are taking the test, the girl that is pregnant breaks her pencil in half because she is having contractions, but in the next consecutive shot (no time has passed) her pencil is intact.
Continuity mistake: When Ronald is in the store talking to Cindy about renting her and the salesman is looking at them through the telescope, Ronald has the money in his hand fanned out. When the camera cuts to the store, the money is not fanned out in his hand anymore.
Continuity mistake: As Jesse, Diamondback and Homer try to black out the windows on their car (to protect themselves from the sunlight) Homer spray paints the window next to him black. The camera angle switches to a wide shot as the car drives by. At this time, the back window (which was just blacked out) has not been spray painted yet. It is totally clean again.
Continuity mistake: When Roxanne finds out the Charlie is the one writing the letters, she pushes him out the front door and when the camera angle changes to the outside she's pushing him again about 3 feet away from the front door.
Continuity mistake: When the angel lands face down in the pool, Michael Knight turns her over and her face is completely dry.
Continuity mistake: When George's wife asks him what made him drive all the way out here, their car is on the back of a large dinosaur at that moment. When it cuts to a closer angle for his reply, suddenly they are on a dirt road.
