Continuity mistake: In the shot of the alien's tail wrapping around the back of Lambert's legs right before it kills her, the floor is different to what it was before, there is water suddenly falling from the ceiling when there wasn't before and her trousers have changed from white to blue. This is because that shot was originally intended to be used when Brett was killed.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene on the bridge, Spock and McCoy are wearing coloured arm bands which identify their departments: Spock's is orange (for Science) and McCoy's is green (for Medical). In the very last shot, Spock is wearing the green band and McCoy is wearing the orange one (corrected in the 2022 re-release of the Director's Edition).
Continuity mistake: When Goose crashes his motorbike, he lands on his front. The previous shot shows him falling back-first.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Mike and Jody raise the hood on the car, Jody's hand holding on to the hood alternates between his right and left hand over three shots. (00:13:10)
Continuity mistake: When James Bond is fighting with the pilot on the aeroplane, the wall beside the door is beige when viewed from inside and brown when viewed from outside.
Continuity mistake: When Mary Steenbergen and Malcolm MacDowell are in a restaurant and he's eating ice cream, his hand holding the ice cream spoon is in a different position when he's shown from the front than from when he's shown from the back - one way it's up, the other it's down. Also, the spoon disappears whenever the shot is from the back.
Continuity mistake: V.I.N.CENT's pupils are usually round, but when nose to nose with Maximilian, they're square.
Continuity mistake: Malden enters a bar to meet Connery. Sitting on Connery's right is a white-hared guy, so Malden sits on his left. We switch to watch the TV, and when we return, Malden is now on Connery's right.
Continuity mistake: In "Plot to Kill a City: Part 2", Kellogg is told the man was lying about the top button giving access, so he presses the bottom button, which goes dark. In the shot of them entering, the buttons have switched, with the top on dark.
