Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stromberg is thanking Dr. Bechman and Professor Marcovitz, he has a towel in his hand. When the camera changes to another angle that shows the back of his chair, his hands are totally empty and resting on an arm of the chair. Then it changes back to the original camera angle, and he now has a towel in his hands again.
Revealing mistake: Mel jumps over a step that he senses to be weak. The step he actually jumps onto (and collapses) has been pre-cut in a zig-zag pattern. (01:26:50)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, while Kabakov is atop the blimp, he finally attaches the cable hook to the blimp. Just as he wraps the canvas strap around the hook, Kabakov's white shirt is neatly tucked into his pants, whereas in the previous and following shots, his white shirt is fluttering in the wind and we can see his abdomen and back. Continuity mistake: We see that when Pat's host leaves the room, there is a pink bag sitting on the side of the table, to the right of the window. Later, when Pat walks over to the window, the bag is now gone. (00:08:20 - 00:10:00)
