Continuity mistake: In Uruguay, when the woman puts Christian Szell's folded shirts in the drawer, the camera pans toward the photographs on the dresser. There's an unframed photo of his brother Klaus in the closeup, but it's a different photo in the next wide shot. (00:38:25)
Continuity mistake: When Norma and Helen are in the salon, and they are talking about Carrie going to the prom with Tommy, Norma is getting a fancy hairdo done for the prom. But in the next gym scene, she has her plain braids and a cap on. (00:48:20)
Suggested correction: When you watch the movie leading up to that event, it's obvious that Norma is a tomboy, and is always wearing a ball cap and wearing her hair like that. It's who she is and perhaps decided after her hair was done that it didn't feel right and decided to go back to her look.
Continuity mistake: In most of the scenes it is quite evident that Jessica has only a thin green dress on; when she meets Box she takes it off and she is nude. Later when she is outside of the dome and walking through the woods, she ducks to avoid some brush and she now has underwear on.
Continuity mistake: When the American torpedo bomber attacks the first carrier, it gets shot up and flies past the carrier, crashing into the sea, at which point it becomes a single seat fighter.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the man has DeNiro pull over to the curb and says he is going to kill his wife with a .44 gun, there is a close up of the meter clicking over to $2.75. In the next shot from the backseat, the meter reads $0.65.
Suggested correction: The reason for that is because after Travis stopped the car, he turned off the meter. Then Scorcese's character asks what he's doing, and to put the meter back on. The $.65 indicates "$.65 first 1/6 mile" as clearly painted on the cab.
As the text of the original mistake stated, there is a close-up of the meter. A biiig one, that follows by quite a few seconds the meter being turned off. You can see the 0.65 before that close-up, you can see it after, it then changes to 0.75 and so on. This correction is totally wrong and the original post is correct.
Continuity mistake: When the Ferrari stops in the petrol station and the young lady catches the Italian driver's eye, in the first shot he's slapping his face, then in the next shot he is wearing sun glasses which he didn't have before.
Continuity mistake: When the train take off from Nürnberg, the locomotive is on "backwards". A few seconds later is it rotated 180 degrees.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Devlin meets Molly for the first time (outside the pub) the ARP sand and water buckets on the wall are in one position. When Molly leaves the scene, just before Devlin enters the pub, the sand and water buckets have changed position. (00:43:15 - 00:44:20)
Continuity mistake: When Kong is lying in the hold of the Tanker, Jessica Lange's character is leaning over looking at him when her scarf falls off. When it lands on Kongs chest, it appears to be the size of a (very) large dinner table cloth.
Continuity mistake: A couple of times in the movie, the camera pans to John Wayne, and his hair is parted on the wrong side. (Reverse editing flaw).
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cannonball is driving the Mustang and Redman is driving the Charger through the incomplete Interstate, they begin bashing each others' cars to bits. Several shots show the badly damaged cars and the results of the multiple hits taken. However, when we are shown the cars just before the bridge jump sequence, neither car appears damaged.
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Boris, Annabelle (as Ellen) and Ben are in the car , and turn left in front of a lorry you see a police car next to the pavement (not the ones that have fallen of the lorry) and it is parked underneath a sign. After you see Boris etc. again in the car, they are parked further back than before.
Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Baylock pushes Kathy from the hospital window, we hear the sound of breaking glass. However, when she plunges into the ambulance, there is no glass whatsoever, nor do we see any when she is falling. (01:24:30)
Continuity mistake: In the last inning of the championship game, Buttermaker opens a beer in a short brown bottle (perhaps a Pabst Blue Ribbon, Red White and Blue, or Red Stripe) right before Amanda grounds out. When he exits the dugout following the at-bat, he's holding a Coors.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the fight in the club, the stain on Clouseau's jacket (from the accident with the parrot) is visible. Partway through the fight it has faded significantly. By the end of the fight it has gone. (00:45:00)
Continuity mistake: When the soldier demonstrates the bazooka on a truck, the projectile hits the front of the truck, but the explosion comes from near the back of the truck.
Continuity mistake: The scene in the film that follows Berstein's interview with the book-keeper, where he is getting all his notes on various bits of paper out of his pockets: there is a Life magazine on the desk in front of Woodward's typewriter. At the start of the shot where Berstein says: "Mitchell, she said something about Mitchell." the mag has gone, then it reappears and disappears randomly in the subsequent shots in this scene.
Continuity mistake: When Richard Pryor is ramming the police cars after saying "demolition derby", as the shot changes he is not wearing any glasses then he's wearing sunglasses, next shot no glasses, then sunglasses again, then back to none.
Continuity mistake: When Sergeant Major sounds the wake up call in Connor's hut, the Sergeant Major's lanyard (the rope on his uniform) is on his right shoulder. But in the next scene when he is ranting at Patrick Mower and the lads, the lanyard is on his left shoulder.
