Continuity mistake: Hooper wears rimless eyeglasses, with the arms either attached at the upper corners of the lenses or at the sides of the lenses. If this didn't happen between shots within the same scenes, it could be presumed that Hooper has two different pairs of glasses and switches between the two, but they do indeed change between shots, such as when Mrs. Kintner slaps Brody, or even later, on the Orca. (00:36:05)
Continuity mistake: When Eddie escapes the deep freeze, he wears three rings on his left hand: his middle, ring and pinkie fingers. Bizarrely, the pinkie ring actually disappears in quite a few shots, including when Eddie plays the sax and when he lifts Columbia, just before they mess around on the floor. (00:42:30)
Continuity mistake: When Mc Murphy is strangling the nurse at the end, from above his hat is lying on the floor, but when you see the shot from her angle, he is wearing it again. (01:56:55)
Continuity mistake: When King Arthur is fighting the Black Knight, there is a fire behind the Black Knight that is lit in some shots and nearly out in others. (00:15:55)
Continuity mistake: George's collar on his leather jacket is sometimes up, down or somewhere in between, in successive shots within a particular scene, depending on the camera angle. Additionally, his long neck scarf changes position numerous times, in shots following one another within the same scene too. One example is in the salon with Felicia and Jill. (00:18:20)
Continuity mistake: During "Eyesight to the Blind," The Preacher's guitar changes from a red Les Paul to a black Stratocaster. It's not blatantly obvious, but easy enough to spot without slow-mo. (00:26:33 - 00:30:02)
Continuity mistake: At the Zurich sanction when Jonathan kicks the killer out of the window, just before he kicks him, look at the window. This window has two panes of glass that open outward, with the latch in the middle, but a view from the outside shows that it's a single window with one pane of glass in it, not big enough for two panes. (00:21:20)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, Sam Clayton is nearing the finish. The audio leads you to believe that the horse is breathing VERY hard, but when the camera shows the horse, the nostrils are NOT flared as they would be on a horse that has been run to exhaustion (or even down the block). Also, the people filming this scene obviously have no clue about the nature of sweating in horses. They showed "lather" all through the horse's mane. The ONLY places horses will lather while sweating is where something is rubbing, i.e. underneath the saddle, the bridle or breast collar, where the reins rub on the neck or between their back legs.
Continuity mistake: When Ian Lavender is outside the shower room he has a yellow towel, but as soon as he gets inside it has changed to an orange patterned towel.
Continuity mistake: Near the film's end, Kirk Douglas, in custody, is being walked along a street, his hands fastened behind him. He gets jostled by a horse and his arms instinctively come up to fend off the steed, even though his hands are supposedly tied or cuffed behind him.
Continuity mistake: Pooter's hair was cut in the scene where they sneaked out of class to go to the zoo, but when they got to the zoo his hair was grown out.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in which they discuss Sylvia smoking, the paper on the table is different between shots. In the shots of Sylvia there is some paper near the can on the left. In the shots of Sal, the paper is not there. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: As Blood tries to persuade Vic not to follow Quilla June into the Down Under, he is hopping with his broken right leg raised. In the circle he makes after Vick stops, he puts his weight on the leg for two different steps without ill effects or complaints. (00:53:55)
Continuity mistake: In the museum, Clouseau is holding the glove in his left hand and the pincers in his left. He manages to attack himself with the pincers and then the items are suddenly in opposite hands. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: As Frankenstein tells his navigator to go check the engine while they're driving, she is only visible from one camera angle, even though she ought to be visible from Frankenstein's point of view as well.
Continuity mistake: When Doyle arrives at the dock at the beginning of the movie, we see Doyle from behind. A boy with a yellow shirt and a girl with a flower dress pass him on his right side. However, there is a change of shot, and now we see him from the front, and behind him we see the boy and the girl, but instead of being at his right side, they're at his left.
Continuity mistake: Barry is introduced to Gustavas Adolphis, the 13th Earl of Wendover, by Lord Hallam, to help him obtain a title. In the receiving line to meet Your Majesty, another man is introduced as Lord Neville, yet later when Barry is eating in a restaurant and runs into the 13th Earl of Wendover, he calls him Lord Neville. It seems his name should be either Lord Wendover, as he was called previously, or Lord Adolphis, as we learned that his real name was from Lord Hallam.
Continuity mistake: At the very beginning when they are all getting into the yellow Ford car an outside of car camera cut from the front of the car to the side shows the lady's arm firstly inside, then rested on the door.
Continuity mistake: During the car chase sequence with the Mustang, the headlight of the Mustang gets broken. A subsequent shot in the chase shows the headlight unbroken, and then the following shot reveals the headlight is broken again.
Continuity mistake: Jonathan explains how to deal with a biker, demonstrating on Blue who's sat on his bike close to the rail. Yet when he's talking to the new guy (Toughie)Blues bike is in the middle of the track and when Toughie comes around the track to attack Jonathan it is back in its original position.
