Continuity mistake: During the battle at the convent, one of the Cardinal's guards takes aim with his matchlock musket, is shot by Portos, and falls - along with his gun - into a hay wagon. But if you watch the falling scene closely, it is evident that only the man ends up in the hay; the gun should have fallen some place to the left of the wagon.
Continuity mistake: When Eve is making a special treat and it starts on fire. She sprays a fire extinguisher onto it. It shows foam covering only one side of the food. Then, it shows the food again a few seconds later and it is completely covered. (01:01:50)
Continuity mistake: When evil Swan hands the contract to the Swan who's about to kill himself, Swan grabs the contract out of E.S hands, yet in the next shot, E.S is still holding it.

Continuity mistake: When Jim and Mike are in the car discussing his split form the Stray Cats, the camera is looking through the rear window showing that they are about to be overtaken by a blue car. But when the camera angles changes to the side window, they are overtaken by a red truck and the blue car has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: The guests arrive by helicopter in Persepolis. They walk towards the hotel. The torrid Persian sun makes them cast a shado to their left. Elsa Martino greets them and escorts them for the last few meters in another shot, during which they cast shadows to the opposite direction. The two shots (and shadow directions) alternate. Continuity mistake: In the film Sam Waterson, Nick Carraway, goes to his first Gatsby party wearing white pants, a blazer and a striped tie unlike all the other men who are dressed in tuxedos. Later in the film attending another Gatsby party Carraway is wearing a tuxedo like everyone else. Yet, during a dance sequence in which several partiers are dancing the Charleston, we see Carraway appearing on the left side of a shot dancing while wearing the white pants, blazer and striped tie he was wearing at the first party.
Continuity mistake: When Julie starts placing the bandage over Celine's knee, in the quick close-up shot, only the wound dressing can be seen beneath the bandage. There is then a shot of Celine wincing, but when the shot cuts again, a piece of cotton wool has appeared beneath the bandage that was not shown in the close-up. Also, around a minute later, when Julie finishes wrapping the bandage, there is another close-up where the cotton wool has disappeared. (00:34:18 - 00:35:28)
Continuity mistake: When Buster and Billie are at Slim Mim's Jamboree near the end of the film, Buster is wearing an open-collar shirt. When they step outside to get some air, it changes to a button-down shirt and tie.
Continuity mistake: When the boy stabs the man in the back with an ax while they're chopping firewood, the position of the ax changes between shots. In the first shot, the ax is vertical because the boy is behind the man. In the next shot, the ax is horizontal as if the boy is on the right side. (01:06:53)

A naked little boy prances around the room and Christian De Sica is in a quite recognizable position, leg up scrubbing the sole of his foot.
