Continuity mistake: In the scene where Coco tears up the photo of Luke with the women, he tears it carelessly, starting with the upper left corner. The end shot of the movie shows the same photo, reassembled, showing a neat, cross-wise tear, with the center of the tear directly over Luke's heart.

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Robinson picks up the phone to call the police on Benjamin who has broken into her house but if you look closely she never dials the phone. (01:35:10)
Suggested correction: Since we never see the police come in, we're not for sure she actually called them as Mrs. Robinson is known to lie and manipulate. All we hear are tires screeching and as we see no police pursuing him, it's unlikely.

Continuity mistake: In the wide angle shot of Chief Gillespie approaching Virgil Tibbs at the train station, there is a dog on the platform, in between Gillepsie and Tibbs. In the next shot, a closer view of Gillespie approaching Tibbs, the dog is gone.

Continuity mistake: When Bonnie and Clyde are in the hotel room trying to have sex, Clyde stands up and Bonnie lies on her side and there is a gun right by her face. Throughout the rest of the scene there is no gun on the bed at all.

Continuity mistake: When Charles Bronson steps out on the balcony of the nazi villa a second time (after having to hide), he drops his rope (to get on the roof), and when we see him from another angle, he drops it again.

Continuity mistake: There's a scene where Audrey Hepburn's husband Sam is leaving their apartment. Standing on the pavement outside he hails a cab, which pulls up through a (quite sizeable) puddle, splashing him with water. Opposite him on the other side of the road are parked two cars and the villains' Volkswagen van. There's a quick cut-away exchange of "pleasantries" between Sam and the cabby before it drives off. The next shot has the villain (Richard Crenna) emerging from the van, crossing the street, and making for the door to their apartment, only all of a sudden the puddle has disappeared, as have the two cars which were parked behind the Volkswagen van.

Continuity mistake: There is a scene when King Arthur is just starting the Round Table. All the knights are gathered and bow on their knees to Arthur and King Pelinor who ceremoniously holds the sword Excalibur. But King Pelinor doesn't arrive in Camelot until after the following scene (which is May Day). (00:37:00)

Continuity mistake: During a session in class when they were discussing marriage etc, Potter and Denham can be seen in the background leaning in their chairs against the wall. The discussion then involves them and the Teacher played by Sidney Poitier. In the scenes that follow it shows them leaning on their desk when the pair of them are talking to the teacher, and when the teacher is talking it shows them in their original posture with their chairs still tilting.

Continuity mistake: When Spencer Tracy backs into the blue hotrod, the cars end up kind of sideways. In the next shot it shows the cars at a 90 degree angle touching. Then in the next shot it shows them sideways again as he pulls away.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, right after the opening credits, Old Timer picks up a gold rock. When he first picks it up, we see a close up shot of his hand holding it only an inch or so above the ground. The very next shot a second later, from the side, shows his hand holding the gold instantly a foot or so above where it was before.

Continuity mistake: When Scott pulls into the gas station in beginning of movie the sign reads Heyward Oil but at the end of the movie when we see his drivers license it reads Scott Hayward.

Continuity mistake: Aguilar is restless during the party, and he picks a tarot card from the table, which turns out to be Death arcane. In close-up the card is held by a single hand, but Frank Wolff is holding the card between both hands both before and after that shot. (00:42:20)

Continuity mistake: Alain Delon tries on some jackets. He finds a briefcase and opens it. You can see the contents of the briefcase before it cuts to a closer view; in this closer view, a stack of letters moves, and an orange case vanishes entirely. (00:27:00)

Continuity mistake: When Robert Blake and his accomplice take the father and son to the basement, Blake pulls the string on a hanging lamp and the room becomes fairly bright. A moment later, Blake's accomplice pushes the father into the same room, which is now significantly less well lit, even though the same hanging light is still on.
