Revealing mistake: In the scene out West with the buffalo, notice the car driving in the distant background.
Continuity mistake: When they are dancing the king's earring is on his left ear then it somehow jumps across to the other ear.
Factual error: As was the case in Buster Keaton's "The General" film, the General locomotive portrayed in the film more closely resembles the actual locomotive's 1893 appearance rather than its wartime appearance. As built, the General had three domes, an ankle bar on each side running the length of the engine, as well as the Western and Atlantic Railroad's then trademark strap-iron cowcatchers with horizontal slats. The engine was rebuilt in the 1870s, with the bars and third dome removed, and cowcatcher changed to the more conventional design seen in the film. The Radley Hunter Balloon stack the engine had was replaced with a diamond shaped one at this time, as the engine was converted to coal. The engine received a stack more closely resembling its original one in 1893.
Other mistake: When Stupor Duck looks into the mirror and sees that the shoulder pads on his costume are positioned incorrectly, look at the mirror and you can see that the "S" on his costume is the right way round - it should be back to front.
Continuity mistake: When Elmer Fudd appears at the shoemaker's new business office, you can see there is a fountain pen on the desk. When the shoemaker pulls out all the orders in his filing cabinet to show Elmer, the fountain pen has gone.
Continuity mistake: When we see Dorlock Holmes at his desk at the start of the cartoon, you can see that he is writing with the feather in his right hand, but in the next shot he is holding the feather with his left hand.
Continuity mistake: When Daffy (dressed as Bugs) is fishing at the pier, there is a can beside him that keeps disappearing and re-appearing between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Napoleon takes some snuff, he puts the box back on the map, but in the next shot the box is now on the table near Bugs.
Continuity mistake: When the Coyote has put on his Batman outfit, you can see behind him there is a boulder and an empty box before he is about to jump. But we see the Coyote on top of the cliff in the next, the boulder and box are nowhere in sight.
