Continuity mistake: When the seven dwarves run scared down the stairs and out of the door, Dopey pulls the handle of the door from the inside until it breaks out and falls away. The next scene when the dwarf opens the door, the handle is there again. (00:33:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene showing Groucho being chased across the cars as they enter the race course, in the shot from behind you see him running along the rail only to slip, the following shot is from the front and shows the same slip he's already made.

Continuity mistake: When Robert Conway meets the High Lama, the High Lama is shown in a long shot without his crutches. As Conway approaches him and we see the High Lama up close, the crutches suddenly appear.

Revealing mistake: When the piano lid smashes Cary Grant's fingers, the lid obviously stops inches above his hand, even though a drink is positioned on the piano in an attempt to hide the gap.

Continuity mistake: In a saloon, Moe and Curly are playing poker with Longhorn Pete, the proprietor. Among Curly's five cards are an ace of hearts and an ace of diamonds. Moe's cards include an ace of spades and an ace of clubs. They pass some of the cards to each other under the table in the hope that one of them will wind up with all four aces. When their cards are shown again, Curly and Moe each have an ace of spades and ace of clubs. The ace of hearts and ace of diamonds have disappeared.

Audio problem: When the lion walks on stage, the audience becomes completely quiet and all that can be heard is the sound of the lion's voice. Behind him is only a curtain that hides the orchestra from view. Once he finishes speaking, he turns around and the curtain opens, and suddenly you can hear the orchestra doing sound checks on their instruments and it is loud, the lion tapping his podium to quieten them so they know the concert is about to start. This means merely a curtain was keeping their sound check from being heard at all until it was open? (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: In the theatre, a baby goose and his father are watching the show and you can see the baby goose is sitting at the far end of the row. But when the other audience members turn around to try and silence the goose, he now has two empty seats beside him.

Revealing mistake: A disgraced Willy Wallace is relegated to a terrible desk in the bowels of the Morning Star. Some guy puts a ladder right above him, and various pictures start falling on him, who has already had used paper cups dumped on him by his terrible coworkers. During this sequence, the cup is glued/tacked onto Fredric March's hat in close-up, standing perfectly upright as opposed to the tilt of the other camera angle.

Continuity mistake: When Porky arrives home, you can see a window looking outside to the right of the front door, but when Porky shoots the man upstairs a second time, the front door now leads to a hallway with a staircase.

Continuity mistake: Helen Bartlett is on the phone with her friend Daisy, who says she can't join her but is conned into leaving her workplace by Carole Lombard faking suicide. During the scene, Una Merkel's desk is arranged differently depending on the camera angle; a closer angle has room for just the telephone, while in the wider angle she also has a notebook in front of her. (00:06:50)

Continuity mistake: When Stan and Ollie arrive at Brushwood Gulch, they show Mickey Finn the deed they've got for Mary Roberts, and it has a couple of holes in it from where Stan has been keeping it in his shoe; Ollie even unfurls it to show the camera it's got holes. But in every other shot after that, whenever the deed is shown, it's got no holes in it whatsoever and is perfectly clean.

Continuity mistake: When lawyer Goodwill is in the secret laboratory, he picks up a bottle that has "Jekyll and Hyde Juice" written on the label, but when we see him with the bottle in the next shot, the words have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Goofy searches through the dresser drawers one of the ghosts causes trouble, then Goofy breaks through the top of the dresser and winds up trapped inside, but when all four ghosts appear the dresser top is perfectly fine and that damage has vanished. Also, two of the drawers (one large and one small) fall out of the dresser, but as the four ghosts are pushing the dresser those two drawers have reappeared in their proper places.

Continuity mistake: The entries into Quartermain's journal are supposedly covering events during 1881 and 1882. The entries consist of a day and a date, but no month. Taken in order, they cannot fit into the 1881-1882 calendar. For example, the two entries immediately before the June eclipse can only be in August 1882.

Other mistake: In the opening credits the actor Everett Brown is credited as Everette Brown. (00:01:05)
