Other mistake: On the way to fort Henry Magua starts his attack by hitting a soldier with his axe. Before being hit the soldier smiles into the camera (seen through Magua's eyes), but doesn't even look when he is being hit, seen from the side. (00:17:10)

Other mistake: When they are lifting the boxes of gold at the end of the movie you can tell that the boxes are empty.

Other mistake: At the start of the trench running scene where the soldiers charge, keep looking at the far left of the screen. You will see a small group of soldiers already running who were not in the trenches. In addition, they seem to be running without weapons.

Other mistake: When James is returning to duty in one of the last scenes of the movie, apparently he is arriving in one of two twin-rotor helicopters. As the troops disembark down the rear ramp, they walk across what looks like the shadow of the elevator of a C130 Hercules airplane.

Other mistake: While the Trojan warning gongs ring, in the shot of the citizens when they run past the guards to return to the safety within the walls, there is something stuck to the left side of the camera (it looks like a long piece of hair), which flickers on the screen as the camera continues to pan in closer. (00:35:30)

Other mistake: When Giosuè discovers the German boy in the metal box Guido says that his name is Schwarz (Black). The German subtitles translate the name as Schwanz (Tail or - rather - Dick), and that's how both Guido and Giosuè refer to the boy later. Even if the different naming later was intended the first subtitling was too anticipatory. (01:33:50 - 01:45:50)

Other mistake: When Kitty reads Michael's letter from England to Harry, there's some strange smoke arising from behind their chairs. (01:19:40)

Other mistake: The opening scene shows a soldier lighting his cigarette from a lantern. Not only does the cigarette not touch the flame, no smoke is seen as the soldier puffs on it.

Other mistake: Both sides (American & German) use the same tanks! The American tanks have white stars painted on them, while the German tanks bear white Maltese Crosses.

Other mistake: In the scene showing Fletcher hanging over the wreckage of an anti-aircraft gun after he was speared, the camera flies up above the gun looking directly down the barrel. The plug welded into the barrel to deactivate the gun under Australian gun legislation can be seen.

Other mistake: One of General Grey's orderlies begins to leave the room before he even issues the order for the orderlies to vacate the room.

Other mistake: Just after the Royal Navy destroyer has sailed through and depth charged the area where the British survivors are, there is a shot of the churned up sea with sombre music playing, and the seagulls are flying backwards.

Other mistake: In the scene where Mel Gibson is playing AFL with his fellow soldiers during training in Cairo, we see him wearing a digital wrist watch when he whistles and raises his arm. (00:49:30)

Other mistake: For corpses which have spent around a decade lying in water, the zombies' hair and uniforms are surprisingly well-groomed.

Other mistake: After the brief fight between Barnes & Chris, when Barnes has Chris pinned, he cuts him below the left eye with a knife. It is a quick cut with a sharp knife, but instead of a thin bright red line we see instantly a blob of dark blood. This is plain sloppy.

Other mistake: During the battle in the cavern, the (almost) bald Indian Warrior helping Ghost is stabbed by a Viking and dies in Ghost's hands. When Ghost kills the Viking and continues on, you can see the Indian Warrior still breathing. (Timecode refers to the European Extended Edition). (01:01:55 - 01:02:55)

Other mistake: During the scene when Pilla is killed there is a sniper on the roof of a building firing an AK-47 at the vehicles. If you look at his hands you'll notice they are caucasian. The other Somalis are black. (00:46:25)

Other mistake: The last shots of Trafalgar square you can see twice a UPS van driving in the background.

Other mistake: In the second wedding scene, as Don Pedro and Claudio are walking up the aisle you can see an extra jumping over the benches on the left-hand side of the screen. He clears the first one, but trips on the second and falls flat on his face.

Other mistake: When Anne and Peter are looking at the stars, Anne points to a star and Peter knows what star she's pointing to. It is impossible to point to a star and have someone else know exactly what star you're pointing to. Try it.
