Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the movie, when Melvin catches Simon's dog, he holds it away from him, with his arms stretched. When the dog begins to pee, you can see that the urine is coming out from Melvin's glove. (00:01:30)
Revealing mistake: At the bank there is a close-up of Mr. Darling with Sir Edward Quiller Couch standing behind him to his right, just as Nana, et al. are about to collide with the bankers. The camera pans in for the extreme close-up of Mr. Darling, who makes a horrified face. Later, when the Darlings are at the party Nana bursts in. Sir Edward again stands to Mr. Darling's right. Mr. Darling puts his hands up in front of himself and the next close-up shot is the very same shot from the bank. Part of Sir Edward's hair is edited and the background is digitally augmented. Revealing mistake: In Houston, when a man is thrown through a truck, notice the ground he falls on: The sand is leveled higher than the rest of the road around, obviously to hide a landing mat. Furthermore, after the fall the man turns around and he's got a bulgy square on the back to help for a safe stunt.
Revealing mistake: In the New York meteor shower scene, most of the cars blow up without having been hit at all.
Revealing mistake: The shot of the two girls ripping open their shirts at the Fall Out Boy concert is the same clip repeated the three times we see them. (00:58:00)
Revealing mistake: When Charlie and Daisy get the flat and have to hitch-hike, and Daisy takes off her shoes to run to the car that has stopped, the bottoms of her feet are already filthy (presumably from having to do the scene over and over).
Revealing mistake: When the boat is supposedly surrounded by a swarm of flies, they're really just relatively few flies trapped between two panes of glass in front of the camera lens. Evidence: whenever the camera moves, the "swarm" moves with it against the background, and you can even see some of the insects walking on the surface of the glass.
Revealing mistake: When Bella calls Rosalie, you can briefly see the cell phone screen before she puts it to her ear. The lock screen is still visible, showing she didn't dial anything. (00:55:45)
Revealing mistake: After Mitchie wakes up at the start, her hand slides across the keyboard keys in the close-up, but that hand is not Demi Lovato's. The older looking hand has protruding veins and the fingernails are long, whereas Mitchie's nails are short and her hands look as young as she does.
Revealing mistake: When Noah and Allie meet outside the movie theatre and later dance in the intersection of the streets, the viewer can see their breath. It is very cold outside and Noah is wearing a heavy jacket. Summer in South Carolina is oppressively hot, even at night. (00:17:00)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where they have just had sex, Meg goes to get out of the bed and is supposed to be naked, but when she puts on the bathrobe you can see she is wearing some type of slip or nylon panties.
Revealing mistake: During the scene where Arnold's character is escaping from the mansion at the beginning of the movie, there is a part where he is running down a snowy hill through trees. At one point during the hill scene, Arnold does a flip head first. When he lands the flip, you can clearly see the stunt double's face as he turns to shoot at more bad guys. (00:13:30)
Revealing mistake: In the fight between Julie and Ned, when she does the last kick to take him down, it's obvious that she doesn't actually kick him.
Revealing mistake: When Eli and Klitz are being chased by Mule, Eli and Klitz go over the railing and land on the table. After that when Mule lands on the table you can see the table break a split second before he lands on it.
Revealing mistake: When O'Keefe takes his bride-to-be Dolaroo to Hong Kong to be married, a 1950's truck goes past in the background. Unfortunately, the film is set in 1870.
Revealing mistake: When the TVs explode, the glass is very fake and "cardboardy".
Revealing mistake: In the part where Amelie gave back the photo album to the bloke in the fun park, when he finally gets to his bike, you can see people in the background staring intently at the filming. (01:12:40)
Revealing mistake: The films takes place in and around NYC. The nitpick here is that in many scenes in the film Torontos CN Tower and The Sky Dome are visible in the background.
