Continuity mistake: When she goes to sing "Nobody's Perfect," she has on a white tank top, a blue jean vest, and a watch. As she starts to sing, she only has the white tank top on, and no vest or watch. Then again throughout the song, she has the vest and watch back on.
Continuity mistake: Right after the last song John Paul Jones is seen taking his guitar off and resting it on an amp.The scene switches to Robert and when he points to his right JPJ is repeating the action.
Revealing mistake: After the coach [Michael Jai White] told Billy that the group of people present all chipped in to pay his entry fee, there was loud cheering ("Yeah!) but it wasn't obvious from where the cheering was coming - except when there was a close-up of a particular person. Otherwise, the people in the crowd - especially those closest to him - did not appear to be cheering. The cheering, as well as the people in the background (green screen), must have been added. Factual error: Hawking explains how time slows as one approaches a black hole's event horizon. To illustrate this a CGI-animated analog wristwatch is shown ticking away the seconds progressively more slowly. It's the kind of watch that ticks intermittently: once each second the hand sweeps one second-long increment around the dial and then waits one more second to sweep another increment. In the animation, the frequency of the ticks lessens, but the speed at which the hand sweeps each increment stays the same. To be consistent, the sweep-speed needs to slow down just as much as the tick-frequency. (00:36:30)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the show Damon throws his mic to the floor, and it cuts to a close-up of the mic breaking apart in to several pieces. In the next wide shot the mic is lying intact on the floor. (00:55:45)
Continuity mistake: Some of the advances Mark made walking toward the edge of the cliff were negated with camera shifts, placing him at earlier spots. (01:28:17)
Factual error: At the conclusion of the film it is stated on screen: "Ayrton Senna died aged 34. In the aftermath of his death, the FIA appointed Ayrton's friend Prof. Sid Watkins to improve safety in Formula One. There has not been a fatality in Formula One since." While it is true that no driver has been killed at a Formula One Grand Prix since Senna, there were crashes at the Italian Grand Prix in 2000 and the Australian Grand Prix in 2001 which resulted in the deaths of marshals. (01:37:50)
Factual error: Film is supposedly showing Hollywood circa 2010, but in a shot of Hollywood Blvd, the Dolby Theatre sign is visible. However, Dolby didn't get naming rights to the former Kodak Theatre until 2012. Also of note, a few seconds later, another shot of Hollywood Blvd is shown, this time with the Kodak lettering correctly visible. (00:01:00)
Continuity mistake: Sheila is clutching the phone to her chest with both hands, since Melinda is reaching for it to delete the butt-flexing video. The door chimes and the bearded man enters the store; in the foreground Sheila is in a different position with her arms crossed, and in a third one with her arms down at the next cut. And even more noticeable, a 4th different one as she walks away, holding the phone across the chest to the opposite side of her body all of a sudden. (00:07:50)
Revealing mistake: When the historic "Mahna Mahna" sequence in the sauna ends, the girls come out of the building running through falling snow in all their youthful bounciness. The "snow" comes from the left, at a rather extreme angle; if it were real snow there would be an awful icy wind blowing, but the girls' hair is mostly unperturbed, and in the shots that follow there's no snow at all. It's obvious that this snow is just coming from a fan kept off frame. (00:51:15)
Continuity mistake: During the "Quiet Game," the taser model changes when Rachel licks it and finishes the challenge.
Continuity mistake: When you see Heidi get her food in the restaurant, she is holding one food container. Later you see her with two (without picking another one up).
Character mistake: According to David, the triplets were "adopted by a blue-collar family, a middle-class family, and a more affluent family." There are different ways to measure social class, but there are similarities. Bobby's more affluent family (father M.D.; mother attorney) would be "upper-middle." "Eddy's father was a teacher. Middle-class" would be "lower-middle." "My family had a little store...more blue-collar" would be lower - or upper-middle depending on income. All three families were middle class. (00:20:30)
Suggested correction: Nothing in your entry indicates a mistake. "More affluent" doesn't mean upper-middle class. And a teacher wouldn't necessarily be lower-middle class. Not to mention the fact that according to your own words, you said all three families were middle class and then ended the mistake with all three families were middle class. (Upper-middle and lower-middle are still middle class).
