Factual error: The family supposedly left Ex-Yugoslavia (what part isn't made clear exactly) "because of the war", but the only conflict still going on there in 1999 (when the family is still there in the opening scene) was the NATO bombing of targets in Serbia in order to get the Serbs to lay off Kosovo, and that was long over by Christmas of that year.
Continuity mistake: A group of people are in the copying room taking turns taking pictures of their butts on the copier. When one of them sits on the glass part of the copier, the glass part breaks. When he gets up, it's not broken.
Continuity mistake: Susan Lucci's hair color goes back and forth from reddish brown to black in several scenes.
Continuity mistake: When Santa tells Noelle he's anxious about inheriting his dad's role, the position of his arms is inconsistent between front and side shots.
Continuity mistake: Lucia's hair goes from disheveled to styled during the time it takes for Pia to say (over the phone), "You've gone almost a decade without a single, serious relationship, Lucia." Continuity mistake: When Bugs Bunny takes the piece of burning coal and places it into the stove for Porky Pig, the stove has an exhaust pipe and chimney, but when Yosemite Sam goes to the stove to collect the coal, the pipe and chimney have both gone.
Revealing mistake: When Billy smashes through the door of Linnea Quigley's house it's obviously made of cardboard.
Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Cooper writes "Karsson" and underlines it on the chalkboard, the way it is written changes between shots. In one particular shot, the line he underlined it with is suddenly rubbed out.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before the snowman comes to life, the clock in the hallway reads midnight. But a little later, when he is showing the snowman around the house and he is about to lead him upstairs, the clock reads 8:05.

Audio problem: As Tom and Mary exit a home that faces the town square, the sound of applause is heard even though almost all the townspeople are holding glasses of lemonade and nobody is clapping.
