Continuity mistake: There is a scene where the Nazis are executing some fighters after destroying their stronghold, and they line them up facing a brick wall. If you look one of them is kneeling down when they get shot, and the bullet line across the wall would not have hit her, especially as she seems to go down before she's even hit.
Continuity mistake: At the end when Marie is sitting in the bed and the knock at the door startles her, her dressing gown is off her shoulder and then up on her shoulder when she sits up.
Continuity mistake: When Freddie lies in bed with Mary, she has her head on a sketchbook with the Queen logo drawn on it. The sketchbook keeps changing positions between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Lauda is going out from his pitstop he is blocked by Andretti's Lotus, but after the pitstop he overtakes Andretti on the track.

Continuity mistake: In the dressing room scene just before Mr. Albee's visit, as Jerry Cohan is talking he wraps a scarf around his neck. He leaves one end outside of the dressing gown, but in the next shot, both ends are tucked in.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry goes to the plane from England to USA, the plane is white and has a TWA logo. When he arrives, the plane is silver, and the logo is one of the American Airlines.
Continuity mistake: Bob puts his hand on his wife's shoulder, in the next shot, it is by his side.
Continuity mistake: Buddy is unloading boxes of tiles in his garage while Riley and he discuss the radio station programming. There are 8 boxes on the shelf and Buddy unloads another two boxes. A minute later, the same two boxes are back in the truck bed, and Buddy unloads them again.
Continuity mistake: When Cleopatra and Caesar meet for the first time, Caesar takes a piece of fruit to his mouth. But in the next shot, his arm is by his side even though there was no time for him to put it down. (00:22:15)

Continuity mistake: During the scene where Chaplin's brother is negotiating a deal for him, Chaplin and the secretary are having a conversation. During this conversation each of their tables has flowers on them. However, each time there is a close camera shot over their table the flower disappears and then reappears over and over. Continuity mistake: Towards the end, as Rob Roy is negotiating the duel, watch his hands - they switch from his sides to in front of him 2 or 3 times in different shots.
Continuity mistake: When Vermeer picks out earrings for his wife to wear, he selects two pearl earrings (same one later found on Griet). When he hands them to his wife, he gives them both to her, however when you look at Vermeer in the next shot he is holding one of the earrings.
Continuity mistake: After Elvis's first live performance, his parents are discussing how proud they are. They and the crowd are still moving in time to his song even though he's already stopped, indicating the scene was originally intended to take place during the song.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the end of the film when the Z-Boys finally get to skate in Sid's empty pool, the skateboard that is left on the steps changes position every other shot. When the guys first get into the pool, it is facing board-side out. In the next shot, it is facing wheel-side out. Then it alternates back and forth until the end of the scene.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Jessica Lange, playing Frances Farmer, runs away from her parents' home in Seattle, Washington and takes on the life of a vagrant. She is seen hitchhiking on a road, which is obviously adjacent to a desert and looks very much like southern California. When the police pick her up and drive her back home, in what seems like a short period of time, she is transported back to the Seattle landscape surrounding her parents' home.
Continuity mistake: When the psychiatrist is holding up the horse figurine, the way she's holding it in the closeup is quite different than in the wide shot.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Goodman is in the establishment where his future wife is working. There is a shot where it shows his beer glass with about 2 inches of head on it. The angle changes and in a matter of seconds, the head on the beer is gone.
