Plot hole: On 6/24/04, Martin and Katherine were in Mexico, reading a Harmony Herald article about Sheridan dropping the kidnapping charges against Luis. But that happened on the same day (not on the same day's show, but rather the same day in the characters' lives) as they were reading about it, so it would not have been printed in a newspaper yet. And even if it somehow had, it certainly could not have been transported to Mexico from a small town in New England on the same day.

Plot hole: Belle, Philip, and especially Mimi have been concerned about paying the rent on the loft over the course of their living there in various combinations in 2003-2004. However, when Brady first moved in there in 2002, it was stated that his and Belle's father, John Black, owned the loft. So nobody should have to pay rent on it at all.

The Witch Is Back - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Prue describes the way the warlock Matthew traveled instantaneously, Melinda tells the sisters that it's called blinking, and that Matthew "must have copied it from another witch." But later in the series, every warlock encountered by the Charmed Ones had the ability to blink, and it was considered exclusively a warlock ability, meaning that no witch would have had it. The Truth Is Out There... and It Hurts - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: In the teaser, the demon attacks Dr. Mitchell, killing him and also destroying his irises. His eyes turn white, and later dialogue confirms that the irises were gone from his eyes. However, when the Charmed Ones find his corpse, his eyes are open and his irises are visible. (00:01:10)

Factual error: Selena, the Goddess of the Moon, sets the next "earthset" as Zenon's deadline. One shot shows the Earth slowly sinking towards the lunar horizon while Zenon and Dasha watch. However, the moon takes exactly as long to rotate on its own axis as it does to orbit the Earth. As a result, the Earth does not rise and set as seen from any one location on the moon. It only rises and sets as you move across the surface of the moon.

Continuity mistake: In this episode, an invitation to Piper is addressed to 1329 Prescott Street. But in episode 1-7: "The Fourth Sister," the Halliwell sisters put up a flyer for their lost cat, and it gives their address as 7571 Prescott Street.

Continuity mistake: In the previous episode, Piper tried out for a job as a chef at a restaurant called "L'Opera Ristorante" and was hired by Chef Moore. Then in this episode, she works at a bar and restaurant called "Quake," but she talks about Chef Moore quitting and leaving her in charge of the establishment, so it's not meant to be a different place.

Plot hole: Throughout the week of 5/31/04, Antonio and Hank looked for Sheridan and Luis. Antonio repeatedly stated to Hank, in no uncertain terms, his intention to kill Luis. This was no idle threat; Antonio freely displayed the gun he had, and he had previously shot at Luis. Hank is a police officer, and a much closer friend to Luis than to Antonio. So why doesn't he arrest Antonio for attempted murder?

Plot hole: Sheridan's and Paloma's respective ages do not make sense with respect to the Martin/Katherine storyline. In Martin and Katherine's flashbacks, we saw that Sheridan was a little girl, no older than eight, when they left, while Paloma was a newborn. So Sheridan is about eight years older than Paloma. But when Paloma appeared in Mexico, in May of 2004, she was still a high school student. At the oldest, then, she might be eighteen. Sheridan is about two years older than Ethan, and Ethan has been a practicing lawyer since the show started in July of 1999. So Sheridan must be at least thirty, making her more than twelve years older than Paloma.

Necromancing the Stone - S5-E21

Plot hole: Piper mentions that Grams banished the Necromancer "sixty years ago" at Patty's Wiccanning. Grams soon thereafter says that the Necromancer has had "almost seventy years" to regain his strength. However, Patty was born in 1950, and this episode aired on 5/4/03, at which time Patty's Wiccanning could not have been more than 53 years earlier.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the 5/24/04 episode, Luis put Sheridan into the back seat of his car and drove off with her while she insisted that she didn't want to go. At the beginning of the 5/25/04 episode, Sheridan was sitting in the front, still insisting that Luis take her home. But how did she get into the front seat?

Pardon My Past - S2-E14

Continuity mistake: On 2/17/1999, Phoebe realizes that her past self, P. Russell, died on that same date in 1924, and was the same age as Phoebe is now. According to the family tree she is looking at, P. Russell was born on 7/2/1894, meaning that she was 29 upon her death. But Phoebe was born on 11/2/1975, according to that same family tree, making her only 23 at the time of this episode. (00:20:25)

Pardon My Past - S2-E14

Plot hole: According to the family tree viewed in this episode, Penny "Grams" Halliwell was born on 6/23/1937, and her daughter Patty, the Charmed Ones' mother, was born on 4/5/1950. In addition, Patty's father was born in 1930. So, according to this, Penny gave birth to her daughter at age 12, while married to a 20 year old man. That's quite outlandish, to say the least. Continuity mistake: Leo orbed from the Manor to Hell while it was full daylight. He orbed Jessica straight to the church, there was a brief scene, and then Leo and Paige orbed directly back to the Manor, but by the time they arrived it was completely dark. (00:31:45 - 00:33:45)

Continuity mistake: Paige's headstone reports her year of birth as 1975. But in episode 4-2: "Charmed Again, Part Two," Paige spoke with the nun to whom she was given as an infant on August 2, 1977, and Paige is always described as having been "given up at birth" by Patty and Sam. (00:27:15)

Plot hole: On 5/17/04, Paloma arrived home with her friends, and they were all dressed in school uniforms, talking in Spanish about the homework they need to do for the next day. But it was long past midnight in Harmony; Kay's dress disintegrated at midnight, and it was only after that that Pilar collapsed and Julian was shot, and both had been treated at the hospital by the time Paloma was introduced in Mexico. Even if she was in far western Mexico (Puerto Arena is fictitious, so there's no way to know.), it must have been at least 10pm, or maybe even past midnight. So why was Paloma just getting home from school?

Continuity mistake: On 5/17/04, when we saw Pilar's hospital room, the people there were different from the people shown there when we last saw the room on 5/14/04, even though the action was continuous. Kay, Charity, and Baby Maria were all in the room with the Lopez-Fitzgeralds when Father Lonigan announced that they were going to begin praying on 5/14. On 5/17, they began the prayer, but the two young women and the baby were gone, while Whitney and Chad had suddenly appeared in the room.

Continuity mistake: On 5/17/04, Jan removed her "Mrs. B." costume and revealed herself to Shawn. The camera was off her for a moment, and when it returned she was holding a wig and a prosthetic nose. But the wig was much darker than the powdered grey hair she had as Mrs. B., and removing the nose doesn't account from the elaborate facial makeup she had been wearing that completely vanished while the camera was on Shawn.
