Continuity mistake: Steve Austin uses his foot to stop the speeding, out-of-control taxi. The scene shows his foot in soft sand and gravel trying to stop it, but when he stops the taxi, it is on a paved, asphalt road.
Continuity mistake: As Doctor Abbott sits in a chair before Steve breaks through the window, Abbott's hand is by his head. The scene cuts; now he has an open book in his lap. Another scene cut, and the book is gone.
Trivia: The narrator who says, "Steve Austin, astronaut, a man barely alive" during the opening sequence is the series producer, Harve Bennett.
