Rescue from Gilligan's Island (1978)

Other mistake: At the end of the movie, when everybody wonders where they are, Gilligan holds up a piece of wood that says Minnow-1, making everybody realise they are back on the island. The name of the boat was known as the S.S. Minnow, and not Minnow-1.

Dean: We're expanding. This will be the biggest university on the west coast.
Professor: But we're on the east coast.
Dean: That's how big I want it to be.

Trivia: A suggestion was made that the plot for this movie should have Gilligan and the Skipper tracking down and getting even with most of the people who visited the island and never telling anyone about them, and making them stay longer.

Question: How did Honolulu know that it was the castaways on that boat hut so fast? How did all those people get to greet them get there so fast?
