Trivia: The scene where the Soviet tank fires its main cannon, cutting a German soldier in half, was inspired by an actual incident in William Craig's book about the battle of Stalingrad, "Enemy at the Gates."

Question: Gege is shot by Haller. Gege has an exit wound on his back and a blood patch as large as a palm. Could a 9 mm Parabellum bullet really cause such damage, considering all those several layers of thick clothing and all? (01:51:00)
