Other mistake: After the Grinch steals everything from the first house, when he drops all the bags on Max, the ties around the bags change from light brown to dark brown twice. Additionally, the bags ever so slightly change position the second time it happens.
Other mistake: When the Grinch slides down the chimney to the first house, part of his Santa suit and his hat flash green repeatedly.
Narrator: "Pooh-pooh to the Whos" he was grinchily humming.
The Grinch: They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming. They're just waking up, I know just what they'll do. Their mouths will hang open a minute or two. Then the Whos down in Whoville will all cry "booo-hooo."
Trivia: The Grinch's face is partly based on Chuck Jones' own face. Jones said he tended to sneak his face in without even realizing it. (Source: NPR).
