Trivia: Before production began, Peter Rogers and Gerald Thomas went to the cinema together to watch the hugely successful Confessions of a Driving Instructor (1976), which forced the two to make the Carry On films naughtier in order to compete with Confessions at the box office.

Continuity mistake: When the Brigadier is having a meeting with the other officers at the start of the film, you can see he has one hand on the table, but when we see a close-up of the Brigadier, he now has two hands on the table.
