Question: When George Jung went to Mexico to buy the marijuana, he flew that plane back to California, but then later he was arrested in Chicago with 660 pounds of marijuana. Did he go back to Mexico a second time and get another big load of it and fly to Chicago? When he was in prison talking to the class, he said he flew it in from Mexico and was arrested in Chicago, and somehow he was sentenced in Connecticut.

Directed by: Ted Demme
Starring: Johnny Depp, Ray Liotta, PenĂ©lope Cruz, Franka Potente, Ethan Suplee, Paul Reubens, Rachel Griffiths, Jordi MollĂ
Continuity mistake: In the scene where George is in California measuring the purity of the cocaine there is a topless woman with a blue bikini bottom in the background. The trouble is in the first shot she walks from right to left and sits down and then in the second shot she again walks from right to left and proceeds to sit in a different chair. This all happens within the span of a few seconds.
George: I'm really great at what I do, Dad. I mean I'm really great at what I do.
Fred Jung: Let me tell you something, George: you'd have been great at anything.
Trivia: George reads a paperback while reclining on his prison bunk. The book is "Hells Angels" by Hunter S. Thompson, the author whom Depp previously portrayed in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998).
