Factual error: Several times in the movie, you can see the airbase control centre communicate with aircraft using a VRC-46 radio. This radio, which transmits in the VHF frequency range, is not capable of communicating with combat aircraft due to the Doppler effect resulting from their high speed. Jet aircraft would use a UHF radio to communicate.
