Tommy Boy (1995)

Continuity mistake: During the sales trip the two main characters stop at a gas station to get gas. during this stop Tommy bends the door back and after some struggle gets it to the normal door position. Before Richard gets back to the car however there is a shot of the door all dented up but in place. When Richard pulls the door off it falls to the ground and there isn't a single dent on it. (Also, is it me or does it seem a little ridiculous that someone that loves his car so much didn't notice the large dent down the edge of the door as he faced it while walking from the station to the car?)

Tommy: But the Callahan factory has been in my family for seventy years. You can't just shut it down.
Ray Zalinsky: Son, you got to look at it from my point of view. Callahan's a premium name. That's what I'm buying. I can make the parts in one of my factories, put them in a Callahan box, and sell them in my stores at a premium price. Why keep your factory going when all I want's the god damn box?

Trivia: At the hotel with the girl in the bikini, when Richard is in bed and Tommy is standing next to the TV, the TV has show times for "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final insult." Naked Gun 3 was directed by Peter Segal, who is the director for "Tommy Boy."
