Thunderball

Corrected entry: In the film's numerous SCUBA scenes nobody is ever wearing buoyancy compensators. These are inflatable and deflatable vests SCUBA divers use to adjust their buoyancy. Nor does anyone wear any weights. Because of the positive buoyancy of the human body, wetsuits and air canisters none of these people should be able to submerge at all.

Correction: Since all the underwater scenes were actually filmed underwater, this is obviously untrue. Alternatively, this can be put down to some genius innovation available only to secret service operatives (Like the air canister that's no bigger than a pen which Bond uses).

Correction: Cylinders are heavy, and short rubber wetsuits produce little buoyancy, so weights are not necessary to sink. Correctly weighted BCDs aren't required either. The equipment shown was typical for the time and, obviously as the scenes are shot underwater, worked perfectly well.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Bond is trapped in Largo's shark-infested pool, he uses his mini air tank to breathe. In most of the subsequent shots, look closely at the actor's face - it looks a lot more like a stuntman than Sean Connery. (01:20:20)

James Bond: My dear, uncooperative Domino.
Domino: How do you know that? How do you know my friends call me Domino?
James Bond: It's on the bracelet on your ankle.
Domino: So... what sharp little eyes you've got.
James Bond: Wait 'til you get to my teeth.

Trivia: If you noticed that almost all of the bad guys, including the villain, are all Italian, this is no coincidence. The original story involved the Mafia and the villain, Emilio Largo, as a Mafia chieftain. The story was changed to replace the Mafia with the organization, SPECTRE.

Question: In the last scene, what happened to the man who helped Domino? They all (Bond, Domino and man) jumped from the boat before it crashed into the rocks but only Bond and Domino climbed into the lifeboat. They didn't even try to find him.

Answer: Bond hands Kutze a lifesaver just before they jump off the hydrofoil. Presumably he just floated there before being picked up by the Coast Guard.

Jukka Nurmi

Chosen answer: There's no explanation about what happened to him. I would assume he somehow died when they jumped.
