And Justice For All… - S1-E10
Factual error: One of the cops confirms at the end of the episode in the vault that the fingerprints on the gun match Prater's fingerprints. Far too little time has elapsed in between the body/gun being discovered and her saying this for this to be possible. Lifting fingerprints off a gun isn't simple or quick to do, and would be done in a lab, which hasn't happened. Even assuming the NYPD expedited everything given the high-profile case, there's no way this would all be done in under half an hour.
Revealing mistake: When Captain Morrow welds the door to lock Zevari out of the Mother room, the computer screen reads "Crew Status?.. Crew Dead." In the next angle, this same text is reflected on Morrow's head, but it still reads the same way. The text should be flipped like a mirror since it's a reflection off his skin. (00:27:35)
Episode #1.3 - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: As Luka says, "the life I had no longer exists," Kayla puts her hand on his shoulder. In the shot from behind, she removes it as Edward says, "I'm sorry." Then the angle switches; her hand is back on his shoulder, and she removes it again.
In the Palaces of Crowned Kings - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: S1E5 In the Palaces of Kings. In a bedroom scene, Robinson punches Cal in his upper left chest, which he covers with his right hand. When he turns around, he is holding his right arm with his left arm.
Plot hole: After Murderbot glitches out and stops attacking the workers, they realise it's defective and start attacking it. The camera cuts to a wide shot from above; it's surrounded by angry workers, with none of the other SecUnits anywhere in sight. They were all tackling the workers together, authorised for violence; there's no reason they'd suddenly be AWOL when things start escalating, except for the drama.
Other mistake: Ballard and Laffont head to the country club to talk with a suspect in their cold case. Laffont takes a photo out of his jacket, looks around, and says, "There he is." Then they walk over to the suspect, whose back is to them, and who turns around when they approach. No way they could have confirmed the person was the same as the one in the photo from behind them.
Deliberate mistake: When Mephisto's true form is reflected in the concave side of the spoon, the reflection is right side up. However, reflections in the concave side of spoons appear upside down. This was likely done deliberately by the VFX artists to make this an easier Easter egg for fans to spot.
Episode #1.4 - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: We see Hardy in bed in the hospital. He uses his left arm because his right arm is paralyzed. Later in the same episode, he uses his right arm to look something up on his laptop. (00:10:50 - 00:39:10)
Factual error: Avichail is speaking while a tracheotomy tube is inserted in his throat. In reality, you can't speak with a tracheotomy because it diverts the air out before it reaches the vocal cords. You'll have to close the tube with your finger to make a sound. (00:34:22)
The First Honest Thing - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: During several long scenes with Coop in the hospital, the clock on the wall never changes from 11:04.
Suggested correction: I thought that added a bit of realism, since in the real world, clocks are often non-working. On the other hand, if it had displayed inconsistent times in different shots, then it would be a definite continuity error, but it's merely not working. That's not a continuity mistake. That's either a non-functional prop or simply a real-world clock that's broken.
Plot hole: Harry is sent to Amsterdam to find and safely return Brandan and Seraphina, who are engaged in an illegal diamond transaction. Maeve tells Ritchie Stevenson the hotel in Amsterdam where they are staying. However, Brandan and Seraphina have left to head to a secret rendezvous, which Harry finds out about with considerable effort. But Ritchie's henchmen show up to ambush the Harrigans. Neither Ritchie nor anyone on his team could have possibly known of this location.
Continuity mistake: Kate leaves to watch the play wearing a loose sweater over her skirt. She returns wearing the sweater tucked in with a belt that she didn't take with her.
Continuity mistake: E 5. When Salazar interviews the Pastor as he is cleaning out Pastor Pete's office, the books that the Pastor has removed from the shelving unit behind him return in a subsequent scene.
The Cause of This Unrest - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: In episode 4 (The Cause of This Unrest), Marian is sitting at the palace looking at the stars. Will comes to her with an urn and goblet. He puts them down on his right side as he sits next to her. A moment later, he reaches to his left side and picks up the goblet, which has magically moved there.
Continuity mistake: S1 E1 Faith and Family Facial recognition software was run against the suspect and it was a 72% match certainty, and the detectives state it. However, when questioning a suspect, they show the facial recognition document and it's a 99% match. (00:30:05 - 00:51:09)
Suggested correction: They used it twice in that episode. The first suspect was released, but the second was the perpetrator. That was the whole conflict for the Superintendent, using it two times on one case.
Episode #1.6 - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: Arthur and Edward are sitting in their office with their lawyer having a long discussion. The lawyer is sitting at one end of the table with Arthur at the other end. When the show returns to them after a brief cutaway, the lawyer is seated at the side of the table.
Continuity mistake: Volchek is in the garage watching three large tractor trailers pull in. The first to the left, the second to the right, and the third pulls in and parks in the middle. After that, when Volchek and his accomplice walk out of the garage, the centre is empty.
The Five W's - S1-E2
Character mistake: Ned shows the staff three of his favourite headlines run by the 'Toledo Truth Teller' over the years, the first being "Shepard Orbits the Earth!"; the front-page photos indicate it's Alan Shepard's 1961 Mercury flight. However, that flight was famously sub-orbital, so the headline is factually incorrect.
