Factual error: Eazy-E sports a black Chicago White Sox hat with a white logo early in the movie in 1986, but the logo didn't officially rollout until 1991.
Continuity mistake: At the end of Margot Robbie's scene she picks up the champagne flute from her bathtub. The camera angle changes and she is no longer holding it, then picks it up again.
Factual error: At one point in the movie, some characters are gathered in the break room that has bags of chips. One of these chip bags is a Doritos bag which has the modern logo. This logo was not implemented until 2013.
Factual error: George Cornell was killed in March 1966, but before and after the killing you see the Triumph Spitfire Reggie Kray bought for Frances, which carries a 1967 reg plate.
Factual error: Einar walks away from his wife in Paris to go to a peep show, then there is suddenly a scene where he walks the streets of Copenhagen. It's clear that the marble church of Copenhagen is in the shot.
Factual error: In the early part of the movie, there is a shot of the outside of Triple O's bar. The scene takes place in 1975 and "Coors" is advertised on the outside of the bar. Coors beer was not available in Boston/East Coast in 1975. It was only available from the 1980's.
Revealing mistake: After Jesus saves the woman from being stoned to death, members of the crowd drop their stones, but the stones bounce back up when they hit the ground.
Factual error: In the 1998 part of the movie, before the launch of the iMac, Steve is wearing his trademark black turtleneck and jeans for the presentation. At the actual launch in 1998, Steve wore a suit.
Factual error: The British general at the party in Cairo wears a beard. Beards had been against regulations for the British Army for decades at that time. No British soldier would wear one.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the movie when Joy is in her airline's company uniform and getting ready to go to work, the knot on her scarf changes from loose to tight several times in the different shots.
Factual error: The delivery van bringing gear for the walk has a 718 area code on it. That area code did not exist until 1984.
Factual error: Dev Patel is standing in front of Trinity College's statue of Issac Newton. Directly behind the statue is a marble wall with names carved into it. This wall is a list of the members of the college who died in World War II. It would not have existed in 1914.
Other mistake: When Otto Preminger calls Trumbo from his car to announce that Trumbo's real name would be credited for Exodus, Preminger tells him to look at the front page of the New York Times. The problem is that Trumbo has already picked up the paper from his counter and is reading before Preminger even tells him which newspaper features the article.
Factual error: At the beginning of the movie, the Battle of Scheveveningen (1653) is depicted. However some of the British ships sport a gaff-rigged mizzen spanker, which was not introduced until late in the next century.
