Deliberate mistake: Grug's loin cloth gets ripped by a lion at one point. The rip magically fixes itself just moments later. (00:53:15)
Deliberate mistake: In Monsters, Inc., when Mike and Sulley walked through Monstropolis to go to the company, Mike said to Sulley "You've been jealous of my good looks since the fourth grade". In this film, we're told Mike and Sulley met in college. [In the commentary, director Dan Scanlon explained that there was a lengthy scene that would have followed Mike and Sully throughout their years in elementary school, but it would have slowed the pace of the film and would have reduced the impact of their rivalry. Rather than spend a lot of time on a back story, Scanlon decided to have Mike and Sully meet in college, even though this was inaccurate.]
Deliberate mistake: At the end during the car chase, the blue car goes under the lorry trailer. All tailors are fitted with safety side bars to stop this happening, they have been deliberately removed for the action scene.
Deliberate mistake: When Baz is driving the 'movie car' the vehicle does not have hubcaps, but in the closeups of the tires there are hubcaps, and the tires change, plus there's tape covering the brand name at the center of the hubcap.
Deliberate mistake: When Lex busts Joker out of Arkham Asylum, he uses his Deconstructor gun on the LEGO wall. It takes it about 8 seconds to pull the LEGO apart for Joker to get out. The same amount of time is taken when he demonstrates it to Joker and frees Penguin. Yet when Joker grabs it and uses it to free Catwoman and Two-Face, that time is cut in half. And then yet again when they are leaving on the chopper, Joker fires it 3 more times, freeing Poison Ivy, Harley Quin, and The Riddler. It barely takes a single second on each of those. Deliberate mistake: During the entire movie nothing is mentioned about the rape of Merrin until the very end, even though it is quite obvious for a forensic investigator to determine she was raped, and something like that would be very important to help find a suspect. This is done deliberately to continue the plot as rape would make Iggy less of a suspect (being her boyfriend for years) and someone like Lee more (known by Iggy and others he had feelings for her).
Suggested correction: Boyfriends (and even husbands), are routinely accused of and found guilty of raping their partner. Given that they were seen arguing and told by the waitress that she saw Ig dragging Merrin to his car, there's no reason to think the police wouldn't suspect Ig of rape. We don't see any of the proceedings and we are told only a little bit of information about how the characters got to where they are at the start in order to build suspense, it has nothing to do with continuing the plot.
Deliberate mistake: In the scene where Mindy saves the dressed-up Dave from the street thugs and almost gets caught by the police. The female voice over the police radio remarks that the suspect is "under five feet" (below 152 cm). As she flees, she uncovered her motorcycle which appears to be a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The Panigale has a seat height of 82.5 cm, which means that by proportion, Mindy cannot sit on the bike with both feet flat on the ground (as a comparison, I'm 5'9 / 175 cm and still have to tiptoe a little bit on the Panigale, so even if she's slightly taller she still couldn't). Yet in the end scene where Mindy drops Dave at home after the final fight, she seems to be able to sustain the bike with both feet only slightly tiptoed, although her boots are not that tall. Deliberate mistake: The whole premise of the movie is 'artistic license' so to speak; the protagonist signs himself up to the bone marrow donors register, called ADMO in his country (Italy). But he is still a minor, and that is strictly not allowed. Not even with a written consent of the parents as shown in the movie.
Deliberate mistake: Hansel will die if he doesn't take his medicine for 4 hours, but after hanging overnight in a tree he shows no signs of needing.
Deliberate mistake: After the AN-12 launches from the carrier, you see U.S. Navy near the nose of the craft, and MG on the tail code (MG=McGuire Air Force Base). Also, during the flight shots, the plane transforms between a C-130 and AN-12 multiple times.
Deliberate mistake: The video feed from Jill's laptop doesn't match the angle we see her laptop in. The image should be a weird, low-angle shot with lots of space above her head given her laptop is down on her lap, but the image we see is a pristine parallel shot. Additionally, the video footage is way too high quality for a 2013 laptop webcam. (Heck, it's too high quality for a 2024 laptop webcam.)
