Revealing mistake: When the train plummets into the basement, the windows never seem to smash nor crack, nor does the paint on the train ever seem to scratch the slightest bit. (01:34:15)
Revealing mistake: When we see a vision of Child-Alyssa walking down the street with a sort-of vortext behind her as the cult-members flee, watch closely and the entire shot is comical. All of the extras are barely moving at a jogging-speed despite supposedly running for their lives from her. Several are visible running towards her direction or even directly behind her despite supposedly fleeing from her. Several extras veer off to the side before exiting frame even though there are buildings on either side so there's nowhere to go. And several others still are visible running left-to-right or right-to-left from either side of the frame, again despite there being buildings on either side. Obviously all of the extras were filmed in front of a green-screen being told "just run around a bit" and then added to the scene. The shot makes no sense if you pay attention.
Revealing mistake: When Katniss is blown back from the explosion, her stunt person is visible. This can be proven because the stuntperson's skin tone is different and her hair is not in a braid. It is in a ponytail. Wires can also be seen pulling her to give the illusion that she was blown back from the explosion. (01:33:00)
Revealing mistake: When Blake and Gordon watch Bane on TV during Gotham's siege, a grey (sometimes white) square is reflected on Gordon's glasses. It's either a lighting screen or the proof that the TV is turned off and the image on it is added on post-production.
Revealing mistake: When Arthur goes into the marsh to bring Nathaniel's corpse up, each time he emerges to get air, you can see the lack of mud around his lips from an air mask.
Revealing mistake: Right in the beginning of the movie, we see young Viktor holding a gun to a young girl, about to shoot her. The gun is a revolver and as it comes into focus, you can see there are no bullets in the gun. This is part of a later scene in the movie where Viktor kills his first two people. As he's shooting, you can again see there are no bullets in the gun. (00:01:20 - 00:23:10)
Revealing mistake: When Alice shoots the zombie in the blue dress, we get a frontal shot of the gun. Pay close attention to her trigger finger: it doesn't move at all, while the gun does fire.
Revealing mistake: When the cops raid Hoyt's apartment building, Billy the dog is barking at them. But when multiple cops reach his level, Billy whimpers and takes off up the stairs scared. However, you can see the dog's tail is still up and partly wagging. A scared dog's tail would be tucked between its legs, even when climbing stairs. (00:50:35)
Revealing mistake: When Picasso removes the first finger from Fan Yau Lee's hand, you can see that there is no blood on the instrument used.
Revealing mistake: When the three characters are playing with legos and Matt is told to start playing music from his ipod, you can see that the sound is off and the ipod is paused when the music is apparently playing.
Revealing mistake: IChat is used to make a second call to Professor Jonas, only this time we can see Professor Jonas is online under "Bonjour". Without too much detail this would mean that Professor Jonas is in the same house (on the same LAN) as Ellison. (01:31:55)
Revealing mistake: In the scene after Will leaves the girl at the train station, the scene cuts to a downtown district. Many of the extras used for that scene are seen watching the scene being filmed. (00:57:00)
Revealing mistake: As Ewan enters through the door with the word 'paint' scratched into it, he is hit, but reacts about half a second too late.
Revealing mistake: When the truck starts rolling back you can see tyre tracks on the grass from previous takes. (00:46:35)
Revealing mistake: In the opening scene, Johnny and Hickey sit in the front seat of a car. Views out the side windows blur, there is a gray background behind Johnny instead of the rear window, and when Hickey holds the cross toward the windshield, the "outside" is all grayish-white. At one point, there is light on Johnny's right forehead, cutting diagonally downward (too linear to be the sun), and another time, there is light behind Hickey on his headrest. (00:00:31 - 00:03:30)
Revealing mistake: When Luke is signing the receipt for his new clothes, the amount on the CC receipt is less than $10.00. (00:40:16)
Revealing mistake: When the officer on the bike chases Wilee, the door to a taxi opens and the officer collides with the door. You can see that the window had been removed from the door to make sure the actor doesn't get injured. It certainly wasn't rolled down because the frame isn't even there. (00:18:00)
Revealing mistake: The SEALs assaulting Bin Laden's compound are using infrared lasers on their rifles, which can only be seen under night vision. The lasers being AN/PEQ-15s which the SEALs have attached to the top of their rifles. However, most if not all of the rifles have the laser beam coming from the bottom left of the hand guard, not from the top mounted laser unit. It's possible the/PEQ-15s were faux units and different lasers mounted to the rifles were used to give the effect.
Revealing mistake: When Niles York first appears on camera beside the plane bearing his name, most won't notice, but you can see the pilot's hatch open, revealing that it is not a passenger jet, but a fighter plane. You can also see the air intakes on the wing, further evidence that this is not a passenger or private jet. (00:02:11 - 00:22:18)
Revealing mistake: In the lead up to the final scene, prior to the cranes being in alignment, when Spider-Man is jumping between buildings, he falls down to a fire escape, and you can see that the bars or rails on the railing he lands next to are not made out of metal as they easily move as the actor or stuntperson moves next to them.
