Other mistake: When Heather Hills takes a swing at Rodrick with mike stand and hits the chocolate fountain, how does Heather splash chocolate on herself?
Other mistake: When Ralph smashes the giant cake, pink icing splatters the walls, the floor and the other video game characters. There are no pieces of the actual cake anywhere, only the icing.
Other mistake: After the song "How Bad Can I Be?", the camera is looking at the animals with 5 trees and the tree cutting machine behind them. As the machine reaches the 4th tree, the tree doesn't fall. (00:56:40)
Other mistake: Big animals are small and small animals are big on the island, but Alexander has fireflies in a jar at his treehouse. If animal sizes are reversed on the island, the fire flies should be very large, similar to the bees that show up later in the movie.
Other mistake: In the scene where Vitaly jumps the flaming hoop again, in the shot before he says to light the hoop on fire, if you look at the dogs you can see that three of them do not look like they do in the rest of the movie. One of them even looks completely different.
Other mistake: When Ida is with Prince, in some of the closeups Prince is wearing a custom halter noseband with "Sky High Angels" embossed on the leather. The "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" rodeo stunts featured in the movie were performed by the "Sky High Angels" a real rodeo drill team, and Prince was played by Hank, an equine member of the "Sky High Angels."
Other mistake: When Charles Darwin is on the plank, he is pushed into the water. Yet he is completely dry when he is back on the ship. (00:23:00)
Other mistake: The way Sid interacts with the whale's blowhole is illogical in relation with the manner the water is being discharged. When viewing Sid up close, it is seen that the water stream is divided and outspread due to Sid's manner of blocking parts of the blowhole with his body. Despite that, when viewed further away the water stream is intact and traveling straight ahead. Once the water stream is seen doing just that, the following shot shows a boar getting hit by it as if it somehow hadn't already occurred, not only that, but the stream of water that was displayed in that shot was delimited, despite the water discharge never being paused and Sid never changing positions. When Sid starts rotating, delimited streams of water are seen traveling in various directions one at a time, when there should have been multiples at a time according to what is viewed when close to Sid.
