Deliberate mistake: In the chase through the tube station, Bond and Silva both slide down between the escalators. On the London Underground, this area has hard vertical signs at regular intervals, precisely to prevent people sliding down. (01:31:50)
Deliberate mistake: Manny refers to the pirate rabbit as the Easter Bunny, even though Easter never existed in prehistoric times. (00:33:55)
Suggested correction: And mammoths didn't hang out with sloths and smilodons either. It's creative license.
Deliberate mistake: When Connors becomes a humongous Lizard, his robe magically grows from a Medium size to an XXL. (01:06:50 - 01:17:45)
Deliberate mistake: When Ralph and Vanellope are practicing driving, Vanellope loses one of her upper teeth. The tooth magically reappears again for the rest of the movie. (00:57:30 - 01:20:20)
Deliberate mistake: The Army Colonel's Class A uniform does not have a name plate on the flap of the right breast pocket as per regulations. If the Colonel's name plate was present, there would be no twist to the movie. (01:21:50)
Deliberate mistake: When Douglas' fingers are chopped off, they are hit from the right side by the blade, but they inexplicably fly directly forward (instead of to the left as they shoot), somersaulting smoothly through the air in a clean, uniform manner. Obviously done for the sake of the 3D effects in the film as they fly directly towards camera, but completely defying the laws of physics.
Deliberate mistake: In the finale, the main characters exit 'the fall' and climb up the outside of the vehicle. As the vehicle is travelling at thousands of miles an hour, they would have surely been sucked off instantly and most certainly would not have been able to maintain a grip on the ladder rungs as they climbed 'the fall'.
Deliberate mistake: When the grandfather clock chimes at 12:00, look at it when the clock ticks. It starts at 11:58 but then ticks to 12:00. The clock has somehow ticked 2 minutes instead of 1 minute.
Deliberate mistake: When the cop car is ramming the back of the trunk of Dorff's car, you can tell it is a Ford. The filmmakers however, have put gaffer tape over the logo.
Deliberate mistake: When Julien is about to pull the switch to turn the power off in the Monte Carlo casino, the sign above the switch says "LE POWER." Monte Carlo is in Monaco, where the language is French, so the sign should be in French. Obviously "THE" is in French as "LE." But "POWER" is not in French. The sign should have said "LE POUVOIR." (00:10:15)
Deliberate mistake: When Bilbo finds The Ring, he kneels down to get it. In the prologue in Fellowship Of The Ring, Bilbo is lying on the ground. The direction he looks toward when he overhears Gollum is also different.
Deliberate mistake: Empty magazines aren't that heavy, but when Alice kicks it into the face of one of the zombies, it looks like he's being hit with a baseball bat. (00:22:45)
Deliberate mistake: Nearly every night scene inside the house is lit by very bright lights shining in the windows from outside. Yet every time anyone is outside the house, it's still just as dark. There is no light source from which these lights could possibly originate.
Deliberate mistake: The bomb is placed on M.S. One and Snow and Emilie get in the space suits. A cut to the bomb shows 14 seconds. Then back to Snow and Emilie as they talk for a bit. About 14 to 15 seconds go by, and then it cuts back to the bomb, which now shows 10 seconds... It counts down to 8, and then cuts back to Snow and Emilie as they run and jump out of M.S. One. The shot lasts about 7 or 8 seconds, then cuts back to the bomb, which now shows 2 seconds. The timing between shots and syncing with the bomb is way off here. (01:20:20)
Deliberate mistake: There are no yellow/amber lights as Patrick drives Sam and Charlie through the tunnel. Yellow/amber lights are present as soon as drivers enter the tunnel - a warning to slow down, as well as help drivers' eyes to adjust to the light level inside. I presume it was better to have all white lights while filming (and traffic was controlled). (00:27:33)
Deliberate mistake: In "Do You Hear the People Sing?", Grantaire can be seen hijacking the funeral carriage but when the insurrection starts, he is at the tavern with some girl and Marius acts like he wasn't just there. George Blagden who portrayed Grantaire didn't want to be left out of that great set-piece so he was allowed to participate and the director must have thought no-one would notice him.
