Other mistake: When Skinner calls his lawyer he never dials the phone.
Other mistake: The dead blonde whose "throat was slit" is shown up-close twice (once in real time and once in a crime photo) and her neck is unharmed, with blood only underneath her head.
Other mistake: Near the end of the movie, an order is given to fire a cannon shot at the masts of the Pearl and the Dutchman as they have become entangled. We then see a mast being destroyed by the shot but when the ships separate, not one of them has a broken mast.
Other mistake: In the last battle scene, the same death is shown twice. Just before 1h32, a Magisterial guard slumps towards the left foreground, his daemon bursting into dust from the right; and two minutes later just before 1h34 the same piece of footage is shown again.
Other mistake: During the credits, Squogre is spelled wrong, as revealed in the DVD commentary. It's spelled as "Sqouger"
Other mistake: In his search of Giselle, when Edward knocks on doors 209 (hissing cat), 405 (barking dog), and 714 (purple guy), the funny thing is that in all three close-ups the three door jambs/trim have the same paint glob markings. The actual doors were changed, but the jamb/trim remained the same for all three shots. (Only visible on widescreen DVD). (01:04:05)
Other mistake: The ink on the pad and the ink on the stamp that Fred marks the kids "nice" are wrong. If you look at it Fred doesn't hit all the colors in the pad. He only hits one color.
Other mistake: In the Forbidden Forest, after Grawp has put Hermione down after grabbing her, he turns round and bends down to pick something up. When the shot turns to Ron, Hermione and Harry they are still looking up at Grawp even though he's bending down. Their position doesn't move. Ron even looks Grawp up and down, even though he's still bent over with his back to the students. (01:27:10)
Other mistake: About a third of the way into the film when Nick leaves school and is running home he gets hit by a car and run over by a truck. Before both events the vehicles horns can be heard, as if the drivers are warning Nick to get out of the road. If Nick was invisible there would be no reason for them to honk their horns at all.
