Show generally

Corrected entry: In the season finale of Season 4, when Arthur Mitchell threatens to steal his son's fillings from his teeth, his wife screams at him by his real-life name, "Jonathan" instead of "Arthur". (00:20:45)

austiiinnnn

Correction: There is no mistake. The woman cries out "Jonah" to her son, that's is name. In any case, Mr. Lithgow's first name is John, not Jonathan. TRIVIA: His middle name is actually Arthur.

Life on Mars picture

Episode 1 - S1-E1

Corrected entry: The Ford Zephyr police car has a G registration, which means it was first registered between August 1968 and July 1969. This car is a Mark 3 model, which ceased production in 1966, so the latest registration letter it should have is D. This programme is set in 1973, even then I don't think the police would be using such an old car.

Correction: The police got quite attached to certain cars that perform well for them, and when a car is about to be stopped being manufactured, the various Police forces will buy up a load of them for use, but they won't necessarily be registered right away, hence the late 'G' reg. Also back in the 60's and 70's, Police forces didn't have a 3 year/ 150,000 mileage retirement on the cars either, so there would have been no reason why that car couldn't still be in use in '73.

Godsend - S1-E12

Corrected entry: The FBI man tells Suresh that Eden died near Sudbury, 100 miles outside Ontario. Ontario is a Canadian Province - not a city - and Sudbury is near the middle. So if Eden died 100 miles from Sudbury she died *in* Ontario, not outside Ontario.

Correction: Eden died in Odessa, TX in the warehouse. The "FBI" man was lying to him.

H2O (2006)

Correction: Lifting someone, and pushing them in a wheelchair are two entirely different things. I can't lift my 600 pound motorcycle off the ground, without straining really hard, but I can wheel it around with very little effort.

Lilly, Do You Want to Know a Secret? - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In this episode, when Lilly tries to get Miley to see a Hannah Montana concert with her, Miley says she has to spend time with her brother. Lilly responds by saying she has a brother and wouldn't like spending time with him. Yet, in "Would I Lie to You, Lilly?" Lilly says she wishes she had a brother so she could go over to Miley's and it would be all better.

smurf

Correction: She never said she had a brother, she just says "quality time with your brother?"

Bounty Hunters! - S2-E9

Corrected entry: After Shawn expresses an interest in the bounty hunter, his dad tells him "You want to arrest somebody, you do it the right way. You do it with a badge. You got it?" Being a cop, he would know that bounty hunters do wear badges, and Kevin Sorbo is actually wearing one in the scene and throughout the episode.

Correction: Many cops don't view bounty hunters as legitimate. When he says badge, he means a police officer's badge, because he feels the bounty hunter's badge is just a sham.

What's the Frequency, Kyle? - S2-E8

Corrected entry: Steven tells Kyle that he wrote a letter to his father, and that his father ripped it into pieces in front of him. Later in the episode, when Steven finds the letter in his dad's Bible, it has a couple of small tears around the edges, but is otherwise in one piece.

Correction: The letter is taped together. When one looks at the letter closely, one can see the tear lines in the letter.

Correction: After viewing the scene, it is quite clear Jen is pressing the buttons.

Big Love picture

Show generally

Corrected entry: Season 5: Episode 8. Heather's confession to her bishop would be privileged, therefore immiscible. A bishop cannot go to the police with any information that is confessed to him, unless it is to prevent a future crime, and it was not.

RareJewel

Correction: In Episode 10, it is said that the Bishop is required to report all cases of child abuse.

I Do Over - S3-E4

Corrected entry: Carter seems to be frazzled by the time anomaly, and acts as though he's never dealt with a time distortion before. But back in Season 2, not only did he learn that time travel/distortion was possible, he experienced it first hand by going back in time, four years into the past to stop Henry from saving Kim.

Knever

Correction: Henry used a device to erase Carter's memory of the future, so as far as he knows he never encountered time distortions before.

Ugly Betty picture

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the second episode of season 2, Amanda tricks Bradford into giving her his hair for DNA samples. However, she goes in with a buzz clipper, which only trims the hair and DNA is only available in the root of the hair, so she couldn't have gotten DNA from him.

SexyIrishLeprechaun

Correction: You CAN use hairs for DNA-testing, but it will only be mitochondrial DNA (DNA inherited from the mother) so it won't be much good.

Torchwood picture

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the first episode, "Everything Changes," Gwen is told that "Captain Jack Harkness failed to report for duty" on 21 January, 1941. However, in "Captain Jack Harkness," Jack tells Tosh that the real Captain Jack Harkness will be killed in combat, taking down 3 Messerschmidts and getting the rest of his squadron safely back to base in the process the next day. Surely, at least one of his men would have reported that the Captain died a hero. If not, how can he fail to report for duty if he was in the air? (00:39:10 - 00:39:50)

Captain Defenestrator

Correction: Gwen asks for information on a living man named Jack Harkness. The original Jack Harkness, the pilot, is confirmed as having been killed in combat - as you say, his squadron would have reported his heroic death. Being confirmed as deceased, there's no reason for the researcher to mention him. Torchwood's Jack Harkness, who took his name and who also served in the military, is the one who was listed as having vanished without trace.
