Continuity mistake: In the scene where Forrest goes and visits Jenny (and is introduced to his son), there is an iron on the ironing board in the background. It stands up, then down, then up. The child's artwork in the background also disappears. (01:56:25)
Continuity mistake: In Beth's death scene check the arrangement of pillows under her head. It changes several times before and after she dies. (01:32:45)
Revealing mistake: During the scene where Arnold's character is escaping from the mansion at the beginning of the movie, there is a part where he is running down a snowy hill through trees. At one point during the hill scene, Arnold does a flip head first. When he lands the flip, you can clearly see the stunt double's face as he turns to shoot at more bad guys. (00:13:30)
Continuity mistake: Nala's eyes change from blue to green quite often during the movie.
Revealing mistake: When Draven sends T-bird to his death in his car, the real Ford Thunderbird is replaced by a fake mockup using a flimsy one-piece fiberglass body mounted on a pair of straight axles. When it explodes, the body lifts off in one piece, warping wildly while the front axle simply falls away. No proper car components like engine, transmission, suspension and so on, are seen anywhere, though they should be. (00:57:05)
Continuity mistake: Early in the movie when Lloyd gets his wallet trapped in the newspaper machine, it shows his wallet, however in the very next shot his wallet is not there.
Continuity mistake: When the cops first pull up beside the BMW and Jack pulls a gun out to shoot the cop with the shotgun, he hits a bump and blows the cop car's tire, causing it to flip. They show it flip behind the BMW, but the other 2 cop cars (on the passenger side and behind the BMW) have disappeared. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: When Winona Ryder is leaning against the fridge, the magnetic letters behind her change position between camera angle cuts. (01:11:35)
Continuity mistake: When the creature rips out Elizabeth's heart, Elizabeth's head is originally turned to the side. When they cut back her head is facing forward.
Suggested correction: Her eyes were green the whole time. It's just lighting making it look like they changed color.
The correction assumes these lions are filmed, but they are drawn. So if the eyes are blue, they coloured it blue and if it's green they coloured it green, on purpose.

A darker shade of the same color isn't the same as a whole other color.
