Continuity mistake: Stuart Sutcliffe talks in a Liverpool accent throughout the film. However, unlike the other Beatles, Sutcliffe didn't have a Liverpool accent. He was born in Scotland and raised in Lancaster. He didn't come to Liverpool until he was 16.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Chaz and the band are rebelling on stage and wrecking all the equipment, there are a few shots where you can clearly see that Brendan Fraser is only pretending to smash his guitar. (01:26:20)
Continuity mistake: When they are in the bar in Broken Hill, Old Shirl comes over and slaps her right hand down on Bernadette's. Then, in the next camera shot, it's her left hand.
Continuity mistake: When Janelle and Veda are in the shop and Janelle is talking to Veda about marriage and divorce, if you look behind Janelle you'll see Sidney entering the shop. When it shows her up close you see her just walking in.
Continuity mistake: After Beethoven pulls his nephew out of the tavern and yells that he is worthless, Beethoven is seen doubling over in pain. When the shot cuts to Karl, Beethoven is in the background, standing up straight, and doubles over again.
