Continuity mistake: Just after the doctor started the post mortem on that little girl, the front of his gown is covered with blood. Yet, a few seconds later, after the two other guys appear, his gown looks better, with less blood. And during the whole post mortem scene, the blood spot actually changes its size a few times. Continuity mistake: In the hotel scene when Van Damme is crashing through walls to escape the other Universal Soldiers who are shooting from outside, one shot from the inside of the room shows him hitting the wall with his left shoulder, but when the camera goes into the next room to show him coming through that wall, he is breaking through with his right shoulder. Continuity mistake: During one scene, Mel Gibson is talking to the young boy through the treehouse door and holding the boy's jacket. The next scene, there is no jacket and then it magically reappears. (00:35:30)
Continuity mistake: When Nick and his dad walk to the kitchen to see what happened with the baby, Nick leaves the newspaper sideways on the table. He and his dad run back screaming and hide behind the couch. Angle changes and the newspaper is now placed perfectly straight.
Continuity mistake: When Stone leaves the building he lives in, there is writing on the wall saying which way to go for each floor. When the killer enters the building, the wall is blank. (00:37:00 - 00:41:40)
Continuity mistake: Chapter 5 Abraham is shaving Director Po. It looks like he is just starting and Po is covered in shaving cream. They cut to Branick and when they go back to Director Po he has been completely shaved when it is clear Abraham has not done anything. (00:24:05)
Continuity mistake: In the deleted scenes on the DVD, there is a scene where Jobe is talking with the Chimp who he thinks is Cyberman. The chimp's battle helmet visor continually (and randomly) opens and closes between shots.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning scene it says "Somewhere in Kansas 1992" but it picks up where Critters 3 left off, in the apartment building basement in L.A.
